Thinking of grinding some 1/3, how is this area nowadays?
Anyone want to split a room around the series?

I have virtually no 1/3 time logged this year so I can’t really speak for how the game is playing, but it always has games running when I’m there and it typically has the most tables running regardless of the time of day or day of the week. Generally speaking, when there are 7+ tables running nightly, it shouldn’t be difficult to find a good table.
Any news of Big Stax Poker Tournaments Series coming back ?

Wow thx
Nice! Saturday day 1s!
Will def be playing the 1500 big stax but too bad the pdf link doesn’t work
It doesn’t work because of inefficiency of poker room.
I stopped by Sunday, they said they don’t have structure because it’s not decided yet. !!
It clearly shows how incompetent are the management staff is . No one seems to take a lead . It seems like they are trying to prove what they are doing is so hard like solving some huge science problem ( in short cut & paste from previous tournaments) !!

They only have weeks before the series begin and they can’t post functional links on the site but they can make bouncy headers? Outrageously incompetent.

Big Stax 1500:
Yesterday, Tuesday, they had a 100/200 NL table. Haven't seen anything that big as an open NL game in a while. There was also 200/400 mixed. The 50/50/100 PLO didn't run: maybe it runs on Saturday. There were also 4 tables of 10/10 PLO at one point.

I've occasionally seen 100/200 nl here before. Last year a 1000/2000 mix game a few times and it wasn't full.
That 50/50/100 plo has been going way less often the last few months than it used to.
How are the tournaments here? Thinking of either playing the $340 or Wind Creek's $150 tomorrow.
Seems like competition is much tougher at Parx. Surprisingly, the payouts at Wind Creek don't seem terrible even with fewer participants.

Their dailies (both Monday $200 and Friday $340) are very soft. Big Stax series bring out tougher fields.
Whats the skill level is the 40 80 game? Is it better than borgata?
I don't get down to play very often any more, but it's basically half the same players as borgata. Some very good players, some who splash around, some who do both.
I got banned from borgata for hitting a shrimp chinese guy
Anyone know what the sports betting kiosk limits are at Parx? Cash deposit max, winning ticket that can deposited max, etc?

I was getting like $100 for certain player props a year ago...I don't know what the cash deposit max is, I inserted $1000 no problem. You can have the sportsbook attendant make you a ticket to use with the machine.
What games are in the 40/80 mix?
Thanks
Is the rake on 1/3 still $5+$1?
Maybe I'm an idiot for not realizing it sooner, but Live! in Philly is now $6+$3
