My wife insists on putting the fork and knife on the opposite sides. I try not to set the table, but I do accommodate her needs.

My daughter set the table the other night and put the fork and knife on the wrong sides. A friend of mine puts the fork and knife on the right side on top of the napkin and the fork was on the inside. Infuriating but there's another thread for that.

I was asked to set the table for Thanksgiving and I put everyone's silverware in a pile on their plate.

I just have Bins of utensils... self serve.

The original Jake was actually named Jake. He worked in the call center for State Farm and when the commercials took off he didn't want to give up his job so they changed to an actual actor.
