Thunderdome Turbo Showdown

Thunderdome Turbo Showdown

I'll name a category and a number of answers. For instance: "The United Kingdom is made up of four countries. Name them."

There will be two teams, and each team will alternate in coming up with an answer. One strike and you're out. In the example above, team A answers "England". Team B comes up with "Wales". Team A says "Scotland". And Team B guesses "France". Team B gets a strike and Team A wins the round.

First team to win 3 rounds wins the match.

I'm looking for 4 contestants to be split up into 2 teams of 2 players.

Which would be one each of what you allude to

Second tier tech: A software company that everyone who has to use it hates it with a passion, but it's ****ing everywhere in the business world.

First tier non-tech: A company that has been VERY in the news lately.

I could see either or both being in or out. If you have a better idea, go for it.

Nah, you go

I have not really played but one company that is surprisingly huge is McKesson.

British Petroleum is big but I'd be more confident in McKesson.

Use as u see fit.

Probably shouldn’t be posting potential answers to an active question if you’re not playing.

Since both of these companies were named, I'll state that neither of them qualify for the top 25.

United Health Care

United Health Care

UHC stock is down 15% in the last month. And still qualifies for #21 on the list.

Ah, that's given me a couple of ideas

Damn... sorry Bolt., Didn't even look to see it was a team game. I was thinking it was random people guessing.

Sorry folks... I'll show myself out...😊

Tencent

I have one more idea but I don't know the name of the company so we'd have to hope that you can come up with that based on what I'd be saying about it.

Try one of them?

I have a few ideas, but none that I love.

Pfizer

Pfizer is a miss. The site I'm using has the top 100 and Pfizer barely missed it. Their market cap is $147 billion. The #100 company on the list I have is Nextera Energy with $148 billion.

Congrats to Derwipok and PogCrazy with the win!

Welp. GG.

Was going to guess Salesforce if I were on my own, so we would have busted there anyway.

Was also considering Johnson and Johnson, SAP, Samsung, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly.

Would have considered Berkshire Hathaway had I thought of it. Most of the rest I'm pretty surprised are there.

Nice, gg everyone and thanks for the game bolt.

My idea for the next guess was to go with Warren Buffet's company which appears to be Berkshire Hathaway.

GG all!

Can swap teams and go again if anyone else fancies being quizmaster

I'm not surprised Pfizer didn't make the top 25, but I'm quite shocked it isn't in the top 100, especially with Eli Lilly and Novo in the top 20.

I mean my next guesses were Toyota and Samsung so it's lol whatever

Im ready to sub in if anyone fancies

I can host another round. I'll have to think up some more questions, though.
