Reagan had much more good days since it was beginning like in 1987-88 at the end of his terms and he was younger then Biden of 2024 .
Compare both like 1988 Reagan and Biden 2020 at same age and you will find many many times where they were all fine …

Nah I’m a bit scared for us in Canada as we currently have a government in shambles .
You would be stripping guns away from a huge amount of people if you went after every one that has used drugs or even just coke/owns guns. And many of them would be from the supposedly 'law-abiding' camp lol

Would be interesting for this to be changed to a) never because it's dumb, or at least b) only in first 2 years of Presidency.

Nothing strange and you are right, the "usual" way to use pardon is in the lame duck period after you lose the elections (or at the very end of your second term).
