SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
S5/7 does seem best although it would require a fair bit of luck to get there. Not even sure what a good follow up clue would be.
There's an s6 that would get it but it could easily be a shadowfax.
Y’all know p5?
If I got this clue and went through possibilities then p5 would get me on right one
Yeah, I know p5. P5 could hit so many things tho, so it's not like it's a gimme.
I actually don't mind s6 the more I think about it. They may not know it, but it's not gonna totally whiff and would rule out some options that s5 doesn't.
Bump
I’ve got nothing better than s5/7
Those both came to mind, s7 seems better than s5 as maybe it'll deter them from the immediate guess and get closer to ours
I haven't been able to think of anything else
Does anyone know my s6? I think it's fine even if they've never heard of it. Also much easier to deduce s5/7 than the other way round.
Ok forget it. Just do s5 or whatever.
I don’t know what s6 is but if you think it’s good then go for it
Will def be easier to deduce s5/s7 than s6
I've no idea what anything is except S5/S7 and my own S5 and similar R9
Bump, i'll just bold s7 to move the game along, they might still get it with all the other clues
stinger
Bump for bolt/zeus
oops
Bee
I don't think it's bee, based on the discussion in the clueing posts. I don't hate wasp. P5 eludes me. So does S6
Actually, no S8 for spelling makes me pretty certain it's not bee.
What else has a stinger?
Hornet
Scorpion
I'm sure there are others.
Hmm the way they said one or the other implies to me its bee or wasp - scorpions a lone wolf in the stinger world
Only other thing is a stinger missile?
It's New Year's Eve so I'm in no hurry to move the game along. If we can't come up with a plausible P5 by morning then I'm fine with guessing wasp.
wasp
Yeah, good job
Paper wasp is the common type other than yellow jackets
Wow! We got it? I've never heard of a paper wasp.
What is S6?
