Actually, a tie is as good as a win for the Broncos. So going for 2 didn't make sense.
Weird spot for the Bungles after Brown's injury. I think the correct play was not score on 2nd down but try to get it an inch away, make Denver burn their last TO. Then try to score on 3rd down. If you make it, great, if not run the clock down to 45 seconds or so.

My dad used to eat that late at night sometimes. I don't recall why he was up that late. Storms or something. Add a little sugar and I didn't think it was awful when I was a kid. Not good enough that I ever fixed it for myself though.
Got the dogs walked and a full glass of wine to watch the ****ing tornadoes on TV instead of the ball games. I'm counting on you guys to keep me updated--at least until my cable and/or power go out. There's **** popping all around me. Gonna be a long few hours ...
