[CoinPoker] - Ex-Official - Bringing the Game Back to Players

Hello Everyone,
This is the Official Thread of CoinPoker (previous thread)

CoinPoker: The Decentralized Poker Room Built for Players, by Players

Developed by an ambitious team of poker lovers, CoinPoker is a revolutionary platform that uses blockchain technology to address key issues in the poker industry. Despite being far from our vision for CoinPoker as the biggest poker room in the world, our team is proud to be the first project of its kind to deliver on the promises made during its ICO period.

Lengthy payment processing, limited transparency on fair play, as well as a blase attitude towards community feedback are just some of the prevalent problems in today’s online poker world. Since CoinPoker launched at the end of 2017, it has attracted a growing community of players and investors who share the same goal of bringing the game back to players.
Using Decentralized Technology to Ensure Fair Play
One of the key benefits of the blockchain movement is that it empowers users by adding transparency and convenience to traditional services. Poker rooms in particularly reserve the rights to hold player funds and release them at their own discretion, and as a result of complex payment systems simple transfers can be delayed by as much as weeks.

The Benefits of Cryptocurrency Powered Bets

All deposits, withdrawals, and bets on CoinPoker are powered by the cryptocurrency token CHP (Chips). The use of CHP speeds up payments, and gives players the ability to track payments to and from their account on the public Ethereum network.

CHP token holders are able to quickly move funds to and from their CoinPoker account, and for passionate advocates of the project it is a means to invest in the platform as it continues to grow and expand. It is also possible to exchange ETH tokens to CHP inside the CoinPoker app, making it as easy to acquire as one of the most popular assets on the crypto market.

Available on a growing list of exchanges including KuCoin and HitBTC, CHP tokens are in the process of being adopted by other gaming businesses in the near future.

Player Impact Shown on a Decentralized Random Number Generator (RNG)

Fast payment processing is not the only way CoinPoker wields decentralized technology for the benefit of the player. Random number generators (RNGs) used to shuffle decks in a variety of card games (poker included) have often been scrutinized by players as mysterious and, as a result, they are often approached with suspicion.

Trust is essential between a player and poker room for the experience to be optimal, which is why CoinPoker will be introducing a fully decentralized RNG this year. The feature will be the first of its kind in the poker industry, and will give players the possibility to view their impact on dealt hands in a visual dashboard alongside hand history.

Internationally Accessible on Desktop and Mobile

Players from all over the world are able to access our desktop client, and our launch of an Android app has already resulted in thousands of players hitting the tables while on the go. Coming soon is the release of the CoinPoker app for iOS, which we expect to release this summer.
CoinPoker’s Community-Centric Business Model
Central to our operations is carefully monitoring feedback from our players. The success of our ICO is owed to a diverse group of small and large investors, many of whom are now active players, and we feel a strong obligation to make sure their needs and wants are met.

This is why we have invested heavily in hosting epically proportioned promos from the get-go, in line with the promises made during the ICO period.

Millions of CHP Awarded in Large Scale Tournaments and Promotions

Since launching, CoinPoker players were given the opportunity to win a Tesla, collect over 400ETH in various tournament series like ETH Madness, participate in a 10,000,000 CHP Added Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP), and win millions of CHP in daily freerolls
and freebuys.

Introducing Rake after Operating Rake-Free Since the 2017 Launch

After boasting zero rake on games for over half a year, CoinPoker will be introducing rake as a means to facilitate future growth. The revenue will be allocated towards future promotions, development costs, and the funding of new and ongoing partnerships with leading poker associations to establish our brand and give players exciting opportunities to play across the globe.

So my understanding is coin poker basically wants affiliates to stop offering rakeback deals. PLO mastermind might be an exception because of how many players they've brought in.

That being said, I was told if your account goes inactive for 4-6 months you can request to change your affiliation upon returning.

Regarding CHP - just use it to pay your rake till they make the switch for the new token, and don't rebuy more in the interim (this is what im doing).

Who is the affiliate that dont pay?

by Tarikus k

Hello, I registered an account through my affiliate, but he stopped paying me, and I want to unlink the account and link it to another affiliate, can I do this?

If you inactive for 3 months than an affiliate could re-tag your account. If you dont inactive no way…

interesting.
do you mean you don't have to log in for 3 months? Or you can log in but you don't have to sit down and play any games: cash games and/or tournaments for 3 months?

Login maybe not problem… but you cant play any games…. For 3 months.. YES

Quick question:

I have the old deposit bonus that is chunked into three separate bonuses (100, 300, and 700).

Say I deposit 300 and complete the 300 bonus....and then I withdraw 700 of my bankroll from the site itself -- Can I just turn around and activate my 700 bonus by depositing what I had just withdrawn?

Will my withdraw "cancel" my exisiting other two deposit bonuses? The way it's set up is a bit strange.

In the past I withdraws with active bonus with polygon network usdt. This is not canceled my active bonus and dont delete my other bonuses. This is not 100% but this is my experience.

so at this point... in order to get CHP for paying rake, we have no choice but to pay the 5% vig in the poker client?? so in essence we are losing 5% of our rakeback, correct? What a racket this place has become...

STILL no word on the new token though...

It doesn't cancel them, I've personally cleared the $100 and $300, done some withdrawals but still have the $700 option waiting to use. Same experience as G-H-O-S-T, withdrew USDT over Polygon network.

Same case here, would like to know this too

Unfortunately no, as of mid December retagging was discontinued.

Other than in cases where the player made a mistake entering the code during registration - in that case contact affiliates@coinpoker.com.

If you're an affiliate there's an announcement which was sent out on December 16th. If you didn't get it email the address above and they will send it over too.

by ayenjunior k

So, how do we exchange/cashout CHP for cash/usdt????

At the moment CHP is just used to pay rake, as part of the rakeback system you are basically selling it back to coinpoker for USDT.

Mario has recorded a quick Loom video about CHP here

There is no other way currently to exchange CHP for USDT on a decentralized crypto exchange. When the new token that replaces CHP is launched.

Correct. I understand the frustration in the delay in launching the replacement token, it will be coming asap though as Mario mentions in that video. Calling it a racket or rugpull in your other post is a bit unfair it's still around 28% rakeback - more than most competitors - and there will be a new token, hopefully as soon as January.

I also find it odd, that since the rumour of Tony selling it, all the nosebleed games (bar the 10knl champs and the odd O4R heads up matches) have dissappeared. All the streamers who were championing the site Charlie Carrel, Nandez etc are all gone too.

Jnandez was streaming promoting coinpoker as of 2 weeks ago on X and YT. Tony G too, tweeted a couple weeks ago and played Day 1 of the cash game championship. They are both still around. Charlie is a bit more quiet and has his own business ventures keeping him busy too, but he tweeted about us on Nov 29.

We had a lot of high stakes reg battles in August specifically, which may give the impression now they've slowed down. O4R had an accident in real life shortly after that which also slowed it down a bit. But there has been still been $200/$400, $300/$600 action, briefly $1k/$2k HU in August with GucciNike. LLinusLLove was sitting at $1k/$2k HU just before the cash game champs started, hopefully he likes the site and sticks around after that promo.

The only real change is Manig Loeser and the Swordfish Challenge promotion - we are still on perfectly good terms with him but just mutually went in a different direction. Some of the older ambassadors like Isabelle Mercier are still with us, again tweeting as of December. But we constantly review which streamer deals are best for us and try to onboard new ambassadors constantly - like UFC fighter Paulo Costa to reach new players from his followers, BenCB to reach some tournament grinders. Then earlier this year Olga Iermolcheva, Patrick Leonard, Jonathan Little, etc. although it varies a bit how much they are involved and in what capacity.

And the people with CHP what happens

by dappadan777 k

I dont ant the new token I want to switch it for USDT/ETH which is what I could do with QuickSwap, how do I get my CHP out of CoinPoker?

At the moment DuckSauce's approach below is a good summary, it can only be used to pay rake to essentially switch it to USDT through your rakeback. While not buying more in the interim.

I understand you don't want the new token but once that launches you'll have the option to bridge your CHP to the new token, to be made whole 1:1, and then immediately switch that new token to USDT/ETH on a decentralized exchange if you wish.

Hope I can share more details very soon on the exact mechanism of this, but typically that's what will be done in this situation where a version two of a token is rolled out, holders of the version one will have a way to bridge it using the smart contract of the new token. To be compensated 1:1.

I saw somewhere in this forum that there was a change of ownership of coinpoker. Is that true, did someone purchased the coinpoker platform?

by dappadan777 k

Apparently according to rumours SamJazzy bought it, but it's not been confirmed. Theres no press release and everyone is so secretive about who Sam is. If the guy is playing in the games, and owns an unregulated crypto poker site why can't we know who he is. If he isn't the owner, who are the owners now - it looks like 2 venture funds have equity in it but who are the main shareholders? I think given how ****ed up online poker has been in the past it would be good to have some transparency on t

As I mentioned Tony is still around on the site and tweeting about it, so there was not a complete ownership shift the likes of which would warrant a press release.

CoinPoker simply started to do more marketing including taking on the help of a marketing company with a big budget, I don't think that's really a secret, that's why you see so much more promotions and ambassador signings lately - being the regional sponsor of Argentina isn't cheap - and it's why the site has grown so much in 2024.

I'm not really ignoring this question I'm just not sure why you'd need to know the identity of every main shareholder - were you aware of that in 2023 and previously, in Tony's team?

CoinPoker has shown a commitment to transparency too by releasing the proof of reserves report showing funds are all segregated in cold wallets. That should reassure you as it's something no other online poker sites have done, only we can really do it as we're a crypto poker site and the blockchain is more public than fiat.

And its recent ambassadors like Mario and Pads are well respected names in online poker, putting their reputation on the line backing the site. So I'm just not sure why your tone is consistently negative about CoinPoker for months now, or acting like there is some grand conspiracy afoot. The high stakes regs are happy to play vs Sam and he hasn't exactly been taking their money, as one would expect he's down $.

It's not exactly a secret Sam is friendly with some of the high stakes regs / streamers / ambassdors, some did streams reviewing their session with him - like VeniVidi1993 - and he has given out the password in chat before for a streamer game. And he turned up as the same time as the new marketing push so you can put two and two together. But I don't get this perception that something untoward is going on or why he'd need to be doxxed to you.

Yes that address is for everything like tagging, affiliate payouts, etc.

by boohaa12 k

Maybe I don't know enough about the history of chp coin. What was the utilization purpose.

by dappadan777 k

2) who owns CoinPoker

CoinPoker's CTO and smart contract developer for CHP back in 2017 was Justas Kregždė, just to give an example of a public figure on the team who is still around. He is still the CTO today.

The utilitization was always just for rakeback.

Almost all crypto casino / betting type platforms have some kind of native token, e.g. Rollbit has RLB token, and holders of it unlock some kind of cashback / revenue sharing / rewards / can stake it for yield, etc.

It's quite standard, but admittedly CHP was a bit boring, you're right there could've been a much wider range of use cases for it - that is exactly the plan for the new token.

by angelar98 k

1st Can you give the option to hide balance?

2nd Are hand converters allowed? Since they are recommended by Pokertracker I suppose there is nothing in the TOS against their use. I guess a lot of regs are using it.

I'll pass on that feedback now.

We allow pokertracker type software to be used offline for your own hand analysis / session reviews, while not playing.

by Coin_poker k

Yes that address is for everything like tagging, affiliate payouts, etc.

Thank you. I will contact them soon.

I have a suggestion, it is possible that when you click on the top right the pop up appears "Are you sure you want to exit COIN POKER?"
right now if I'm not playing and if I accidentally click on the top right the client closes without warning.

by WSPreadHead k

buy 100 get 95
33% of 95 is 31.35
you are not losing 5%. but also you're not getting 33%. you are getting 31.35%

hope this helps

uh yeah that is how software is supposed to work

Will pass this on internally as well

I'm

It’s kind of important to know who are the main shareholders of normal casino/online poker room that is properly licensed, let alone an offshore, unregulated and crypto based poker room. I’m ‘negative’ (I’m not actually) because I had money on UB, I had money on FT, I had money on PKR, and would like to avoid that again, I’ve also lost my ass on here vs some maniacs and I don’t trust anything I’ve been in poker for 20yrs and seen everything. It’s your job to allay those concerns not get defensive and stand offish but clearly that isn’t going to happen.

The strange thing is that all those streamers are gone. Why?

by dappadan777 k

The strange thing is that all those streamers are gone. Why?

JNandez streamed around Dec 10th, Charlie mentioned us positively on X on Nov 29 when someone criticized that we'd hired Bencb as an ambassador. He hasn't streamed much, but we are flexible around whatever other business ventures people have going on, Charlie has his eliteuniversity.com coaching stable to manage. He has not tweeted that he is gone, his Discord is discussing coinpoker as of yesterday.

We have more people representing the site in some form than ever in our history - Bobby James / Mario Mosböck / Patrick Leonard / KakiTee / Olga / Bigfat / VeniVidi / GazzyB123 / Benabadbeat / two world champion athletes etc. Some are microambassadors with no particular requirement to stream, some are working on things in the background.

KakiTee arranged for the high stakes regs to take part in the cash game championship promotion, and Mario / Pads oversaw the proof of reserves report. We also now have an Anjouan license. The CTO Justas Kregždė is still with us from 2017 to now. Hopefully these allay some of your concerns.
