Ranking of new shows (without just a new season) i watched past year. Masters of the Air was good, but a dissapointment after BoB and The Pacific.

Best series i this year saw was probably Mr Inbetween.

This is a tough list to compile and I'm going to go ahead and be a douche by not putting them in any order lol I actually had to look at other lists to remember and a few of these I had forgotten all about, but did love them.

Man the first few episodes of this were so damn good I thought it was going to be elite, elite but the ending just killed the vibe for me

Penguin is number 1 for me.

Haven't seen Shogun yet. It's on the list.

Completely understand people hate it lol, but i loved it. I hope they keep the same noir tone for S2 though

Yeah Shrinking S2 was really good.

So was Bad Sisters S2. I thought “how in the hell can there be a follow up to S1?” But they did it well

Bad Sisters season 2 would be an honorable mention. I watched the first season right before the S2 premiere so I was still riding the high from that. It got a little rough in the middle but overall S2 was really good.

Why is Mr. And Mrs. Smith even on this list? It was bad and boring, couldn't get past the second episode.

The whole thing just worked really well for me. I was glad it wasn't like the movies. I'm a huge sucker for a good rom-com and this was like that but with higher stakes.

Because it was good?

I'm not sure what your definition of boring is, but secret agents with machete murders and car chases doesn't fit that definition for me.

Last 2 episodes are so great...whole season is but those last 2 were incredibly gripping

There are some pretty tough parts to get through along the way...not that those parts were bad just incredibly disturbing

What about the worst? True Detective: Night Country gets the award. How does Jodie Foster walk away with the golden globe ahead of the main female actor (Sofia Vergara) in the Pengiun? And lol at Sofia heckling Jodie when she did win it

Yes, True Detective: Night Country and Jodie Foster were not very great. But, you are mixing the other actresses nominated. Cristin Milioti for The Penguin. Sofia Vergara for Griselda.

Cristin Milioti is my pick to definitely pull off a career EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony) so I was expecting her to add a Golden Glode to that list with a great preformance in The Penguin.

Just finished the Beaky and Seamus episode. Definite top 10 show and it’s on pace to be there with Shogun and Penguin at the top.
