In other news

In the current news climate we see that some figures and events tend to dominate the front-pages heavily. Still, there are important, interesting or just plain weird things happening out there and a group of people can find these better than one.

I thought I would test with a thread for linking general news articles about "other news" and discussion. Perhaps it goes into the abyss that is page 2 and beyond, but it is worth a try.

Some guidelines:
- Try to find the "clean link", so that links to the news site directly and not a social media site. Avoid "amp-links" (google).
- Write some cliff notes on what it is about, especially if it is a video.
- It's not an excuse to make outlandish claims via proxy or link extremist content.
- If it's an editorial or opinion piece, it is polite to mark it as such.
- Note the language if it is not in English.
- There is no demand that such things be posted here, if you think a piece merits its own thread, then make one.

CNN is saying he was a US citizen.

twitter users found the guy as soon as his name was released but now mainstream media is confirming.

They'll say this whether he was an illegal or not. You have to do your own research, check different sources and their source's sources. "CNN confirmed by a source close to the investigation" isn't a source. If it was a real reputable source they would be named.

"The police chief says" or "the mayor says" are much more reputable sources.

law enforcement released his name. we have a youtube, twitter, and linkedin of a man with the same name who is American. maybe its a different Shamsud bin Jabbar. seems like a common enough name.

According to one of my sources there were 4 suspects involved.

I have seen conflicting reports on his citizenship. and conflicting pictures of the flag.

yes which is why i answering acknowledging both topics are yet TBD

The FBI is decent source

More from the FBI statement, which says the suspect, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, is 42-year old US citizen from Texas.

post your sources brother. I am always looking for proper sources of information to add to my collection and to shape my worldview.

BREAKING NEWS: What appears to be a Tesla truck parked in front of Trump Tower in Las Vegas just exploded resulting in an evacuation.

https://x.com/Aku_700/status/18745094756...

While explosion might be technically correct, this was just a car fire.

ya Teslas just blow up randomly all the time now.

No source on this earth more reliable than PB’s gut

I have much higher standards.

No, people in the tower heard and felt a loud boom, looked outside and saw smoke rising.

Whatever it is that happened, something happened.

Hopefully it was just an accident and nothing more sinister.

In other news, an immigrant who entered just 2 days ago just committed an horrific act of terror driving a truck through the crowd in New Orleans, to which i suppose the left will answer with "we need more truck control laws"

He's a US citizen according to msm

The FBI identified the suspect as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, U.S. citizen from Texas.

He sounds American too in this alleged real estate youtube vid and states he's been in Texas all his life.

Found the vid but it's posted by some maga dude and I don't think it's been verified yet as authentic

I have the surveillance video of the cybertruck, it definitely exploded and it was pretty big.

Idk how to load videos on here but here's the point it exploded

What an ironic thing to happen with the MSM's butts being so hurt about Trump and Elon working so closely together.

Do e.v. cars just explode like this? Seem too coincidental, but that's just me.

The answer will be something to do with how many people are killed by good ole Americans.

edit. Seems your "IMMIGRANT KILLER!!!1!!1!" was such a person. lol at you again.

by Playbig2000 k

It was reported he entered through El Paso area just a couple days ago.

Here's the problem with that.

They've been coming in for years on a daily basis.

How many more are there just like him?

These next few weeks are gonna wake all the people up who supported "open borders" and "felt bad" for the poor lost "migrants trying to seek asylum" when this was all about tearing down a country from the inside out under an incompetent leadership (who aren't our leaders, they're our enemies in disguise). 3

Maga false flag if I've ever seen one

Those things randomly blowing up is kind of their thing. If it was intentional it's a pretty brilliant way to cover your tracks.

It is? Where are you getting this from?

Also, given all the technology that goes into these trucks, it should be pretty easy to deconstruct what happened. I imagine Tesla can look up the state of the battery when the explosion happened, and determine whether it was the battery, and if it was how it exploded.

I dont think there is going to be any way to "cover tracks" if it was deliberate.

Looks like PB was right this time

Here's a picture of the truck still burning (battery fires are hard to put out) . Doesn't look like much of an explosion to me.

To PB's credit, FBI have since stated they don't believe he acted alone.

They usually act with their FBI handlers

I have the video of the car exploding. It sat quietly and then all of a sudden the whole car exploded in a big fireball. I tried to capture the exact frame and it wasn't burning prior. It definitely exploded.
