SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
Ok, here is where I’m at
Princess has a word for every clue but I don’t think we can guess it
They all know the target and all thought of Earl right away, which isn’t really one of the first 20 things you think of for Princess
Additionally, d1 said that Earl only hits the word or a shadowfax
For that, Duke is first thing that comes to mind; or countess (not sure that would be a word on a list tho)
If it’s Duke then maybe g4 is game for Duke basketball games and g5 would be grand for the Grand Duke
No clue what p3 and p5 are for Duke and it seems like the school/team words woulda come to mind anyway
Other options that are directly earl:
Noble
Rank
Title
Royal
Royal is more Princess than Duke while Duke and Earl are more noble…and both are ranks or titles
When d1 said Earl only hits one thing, I think he could have been thinking of noble, rank or title
So gonna see if any of the other words work for those 3
If it’s title, then:
g4 is game for title game
G5 could be Grace as it’s a title or grand maybe
P3 pen like pen name
What do you think Zeus? I think we prolly need 2nd clue so I’m fine with any of noble, Duke, title, rank, royal and open to other options
I feel silly not thinking of it earlier, but I only drink sweet tea, not hot tea, so not something I think of I guess
tea so we can move on
P5 Miss Potts from Beauty and the Beast?
Or just pound of tea? do you buy by the pound like coffee (which I also don’t drink)?

Was thinking we shoulda gone lowercase and there was no coming back from Duke on the uppercase, nice get!
We just got caught up on the Royal meaning of it
D1 saying it only hit the word didn’t sit right with me given multiple options for the noble Earl, but it took throwing in the towel to have an epiphany

S5 is a good confirmer if anyonenhas an a?
P5 is a good confirmer for r5
Maybe I'm just dense but I'm having trouble coming up with most of the clues I'm seeing. Probably I'm just coming at this from a different angle.
My R10 is definitely not a shadowfax and even though there are other directions it could go, it hits the target very hard. Especially if the confirmers are any good.
