Codenames for Suckers
Anyone (preferably who hasn't played in ages/ever and sucks at it like myself) fancy a game of Codenames?
Or regulars if no-one new wants to play and you'll just have to hope i'm not on your team 😃

guess we should have left giant at top of list and not reordered
not going unlimited when the next 2 words are ours and we need 2 more for Asia made me think giant wasn't ours but I guess I shoulda stuck to my normal "don't change the order on spymaster"
by ruling it out due to lack of unlimited, we didn't even consider giant for thunder, when it hits pretty well

Maybe something like investigate to hit vet hard and pretty much not touch anything else would’ve done it.
vet + next 3 words on list needs to hit just vet hard
so can't be the veterinarian definition with duck and hospital on the board
go with the military or screening/assessing version of vet; though there are danger words on the board for those as well, so not easy
zoologist not bad because they could eliminate duck since you didn't clue what our spymaster did for vet+duck and zoologists don't really work in a hospital, so not a bad try
they just didn't even consider it was a 1+makeup option because it didn't hit only vet hard, but i'm not sure there is a word that hits only vet hard enough and nothing else
One man's word that hits Vet hard and only vet is another man's duck/hospital.
I wouldn't see investigate as vet only.
Hospitals investigate for instance
if you clue unlimited turn 2 we will guess 2 for your clue + next 2 on the list (princess/giant) since we already had 2 Asia and only needed 2 more
we'd keep model/forest top of list for future in case you wanted us to go down entire list (so you'd do unlimited again on turn 3), but we'd stop after we made up Asia since early in the round
Can definitely be tough to go unlimited on the final clue when only clueing one. Maybe we could’ve discussed it more, but I’m not exactly sure how we ever get off of duck with that clue.
I tried to go zoologist instead of zoology to move away from duck.

you can't clue list-0 but you can clue the same clue again with 0, so Asia - 0
but with giant/forest being ours, you can't do that there
you did it perfectly; you moved on to a 2 clue that we got plus we found out princess was neutral and then we shoulda had giant on top and you woulda clued again and we would won a turn earlier
we messed it up; your clues were fine
Clueing something that has to do with animal science is a very difficult way to clue away from an animal on the board. What it got us away from was vet. I’d thought of ornithologist as a better clue for duck/vet, but figured you would’ve clue animal because of Donk’s previous clue. Since you didn’t clue animal, but still clued something animal-related, it led us away from vet and toward hospital (duck + hospital is a horrific combo).
This pretty much got all mucked up because of the animal - 0 clue.
You did a great job clueing, we just unfortunately didn’t pick up what you were putting down in the final clue. It happens.
GG all! Didn't even thing of Giant for thunder, googled it and it's a yugi-oh card thing, takes me back lol
In the Hobbit and other stuff giants cause thunder as well when they throw boulders at each other
And thunder is a giant sound, etc
