I've been wanting to ask this for a little while, but don't want to risk affecting the current round in progress, so here goes.

What are the rules about getting a partial answer right?

In the last round, if Erv and Zeus had answered "reindeer" would that not have counted as a correct answer?

What if they had answered "deer hunter"?

A few turns back, the answer was "sports". What if the guessers went with "sport"?

I always assumed you have to get the specific word 100% right that's why I said this lol, if they said 'reindeer' we'd just say they're 99.9% close same with sport/sports

we decided in this thread it's exact match (plural sport/sports would be fine)

deer hunter = good; because exact word was guessed (but you can't guess penguin seagull; if 2 word guess gotta make sense together)

deers = good because just plural

reindeer = bad

in the actual game, they say if same root it's fine, so they give example of prince/princess as acceptable for either target word....but in this thread prince would be wrong for princess and vice-versa

I think sport and sports is close enough as its the same word
