Seriously tho, glad to hear you're ok even if your would be home might not be. Found out an old friend and his partner, as well as his partner's parents lost their home. They are in the Pallisades. I don't really know what that is, it sounds like a rich person place. I know they make good money, at least. What are the types of areas being destroyed...is it mostly homes?

Palisades is next to Malibu. Ten million dollar homes tucked cozily into forests of kindling.

I didn't have many clients in Malibu but one was this old couple who had bought their house for like seventy-five centavos in the nineteen fifties. Just sit there and collect your winnings.

I was in Oxnard up in Ventura County. They even have a 11-acre fire going up there somehow, it has never been this bad. A national forest burned down while I was there but that's only a residential area for the few remaining Condors.

I've been abundantly clear in my position. I don't see how repeating it a 10th time will do any good so we're not going in there, but i do want to share a snippet from a pm i received which i think sums it up better than i could possibly do myself

furthermore, vr, nowhere did i say any of the nonsense you wish for me to apologize for, i considered asking you where i wrote that stuff but felt even that gave it more of a response than it deserved, your conduct here has been disgusting, you bullied and attacked me without any nastiness from me whatsoever and then you finally get what you want where i decide to be the better person and ignore that you never even apologized but rather considered that was the closest thing to an olive branch i was likely to receive from you and you then double down on insults and demeaning behavior and then ask me apologize for very specific statements that i never said, i'm sorry but you need therapy, that's just absurd

and for those who jumped in on the lynch mob, many of you i have no ill feelings for, especially filthy who was very ambivalent in his statements - i perfectly understood his position, his long term friend felt offended and he wanted fix that

as for the rest of you, specifically tbob and zurvan, you guys went out of your way to attack a complete stranger not based on the conduct of his actions but rather on the fact that your friend told you to do it - not once did you address the specifics of what i said (nobody has because once we start to try to deal with facts then vr's case disintegrates, the only two posters to do that were xander and pwnsall and they both ruled i did nothing wrong) but instead just attacked me as a person, someone who you barely know but are now sure i'm a selfish dickhead who lacks empathy and even go so far as to say I'm the one playing the victim here when that's clearly vr

shame on you two, one thing is for certain, you either haven't improved, you're still the awful pos that you used to be, you just don't realize it because you've since recalibrated to different styles and targets, you may not be poking fun at the short bus anymore but you're now baselessly attacking and slandering a complete stranger simply because one of your friends asked you to do so

one the other hand, the even scarier proposition is you two have indeed shown a lot of growth, which is a terrifying thought to how awful you two must have previously been because now you're still two vile pos who engage on bullying autistic people online over very subjective matters fo no reason other than your friend asked you to do so
