Folding a big pair on the flop in 4-way 3! pots
I was effective stack about 300 in both hands. I was mostly losing and kept taking green chips out of my pocket to keep a stack so I could get paid off sufficiently for a set, etc.
½ NL. Sunday night and kind of a wild table, with a guy across from me literally raising any hand folded or limped to him, but not 3-betting much. He was getting 3! a lot for a ½ game, leading to some big pots.
I was definitely playing for the limp 3! in any position if a limped pot and maniac yet to act. Sklansky’s coming in as the 4th limper with KK would be a good play with that player to act. He took a lot of flack for that when it was presented without reads or history, but that is by far the best play with a maniac usually raising to act.
Should I 3-bet larger in early to mid position? Seems like 3x was getting almost too much action.
In both cases, the 2nd cold caller in position was the maniac.
H1, UTG+1 open raises to 10, I 3-bet to 30 with KK in 4th position, 2 cold callers in position and original raiser calls. Flop comes AT7, 2-flush. Check, I check, HJ bets 50, button calls, fold, I fold.
H2, UTG opens 15. I am 4th to act with QQ. I thought he was strong, but thought with AA/KK he might raise even bigger or might raise normally to disguise his hand and not minding calls. I figured he could be dominated with 99-JJ/AQ. I 3! to 45. Again 2 cold callers, raiser calls. Flop comes K95, r. Original raiser shoves for 97. I think for about 10 seconds and fold.

Both are good folds. That's poker.
ETA: Confused by the action sequence in H1. Don't you act between the HJ and BTN? This one is a call without the button caller, which is why I ask.
I know they were good folds. Wondered if I should have 3! bigger even if it wouldn't mattered in the results. The thing about the table dynamics was the maniac was raising every time it was limped or passed to him, so he was getting 3! fairly often for value, often with less than AK/JJ+. So the table was not intimidated by 3!s and calling to see a flop, as they would single raises. So when I 3! in early to mid position, even though it wasn't to raise by the maniac, they weren't concerned about it.
KK hand on A-high flop, the two preflop cold callers got allin on the turn and ATo stacked A9o with top pair. The QQ hand on the K-high flop, the 2nd cold caller called the ep raiser's push. The ep raiser had AK against KQ from the preflop cold caller. Could have been really profitable in each hand if I had flopped on overpair or set.
