Hand 1: AsKs UTG $250 effective, MP1 is an unknown
Open $15, MP1 3-bets to $45, two calls, Hero 4-bets to $150, MP1 shoves, folded to Hero who calls.
MP1 has QQ and the board is all low cards.

Hand 2: AsAd in BB. $300 effective. Button is a well-known LAG with excellent hand reading and knowledge of poker math.
Several limps to BB, Hero raises to $25, 3 calls.
Flop: Td 4d 2s Hero bets $100, folded to the button who shoves, hero calls. Turn Kc, River 8h, button shoes Kd 8d.

Hand 3: KcKd UTG $250 effective, UTG+1 has been loose-aggressive for 90 minutes.
Hero raises to $15, UTG+1 3-bets to $35, two calls, hero 4-bets to $150, UTG+1 jams.
Board: Ks Th 2c 9s 4s
UTG+1 shows As Js

I wonder what level of abuse would have happened if the guy chatting in the image below suffered the losses you did? This was in a freeroll. Just like the old days.

Flop bet in hand 2 way too large


No cash player here but why betting so large in hand 2? specially blocking both of flush draw and back door flush draw, i think this is 33B allways and maybe some checks knowing you are against a good LAG player , you can still call bets and your hand will play alone, the other two hands are just poker 😀


I take it “hero takes the walk of shame” is the end of the story? Very sorry to hear anyway.

The flop bet was because of the LAG player and I wanted to deny him odds, as I knew his range included various combos that hit that board. Also, I considered it possible for someone to call anyway.
