Heading to New Orleans next week. How is this poker room? Are beers and mixed drinks free while playing poker like other Caesars properties?

Mostly 1/3 NLHE, Some 2/5, rarely 5/10. Some Omaha, mostly 4 card PLO 1/3, 2/5. Games are match stack so usually play bigger than the stakes.

Plenty of tourist in the games, local regs but on average not good but there are handful who are good. Most pots are multi-way. Lots of Trappy play so games can be quite swingy.

Yes drinks and beer are free while playing though you need Diamond or Seven* card for some top shelf liquor. But usually someone at the table will pick it up for you if you tip.

Awesome, lots of good information. I’m a “regular” diamond but I’m okay with cheap booze. Thanks.

I haven't been to this room in years, but it was one of my favorites. The PLO was fantastic -- glad to hear it probably still is 😉

Regular diamond qualifies you for the upgraded drinks: for example, the Abita local beer required diamond or better. Drink service was fast.

There was a good table or multiple good tables every day I was there and I wasn't even there on the weekends.

The $1-3 NL match the stack can play big sometimes if the right regs are there. There are several obvious local pros that were there everyday and a few action regs.
