grinding micro stakes mtt 2025, goal 400-5k
hey,
I'm a micro player from Belgium playing micro stakes MTT up to 11$, in 2025 my goal is too get the bankroll too 5k.
Started a week ago with 400$ on 4 diferent sites: GG, BWIN, UNIBET and POKERSTARS
Had some good runs the past days and the current bankroll is 971.75$
Who am I?
-physiotherapist, 31, live in Belgium, working 50-60hrs/wk
-playing poker for 10 years, never take it seriously.
-playing soccer, cycling a lot, fitness
Goals?
-making money strictly playing online micro and low stakes mtt
-max 1% of bankroll buy ins
-updating this thread after every session
-playing 2-3 mtt sessions a week
-Live tournaments will be mentioned but not take into account for the bankrollchallenge

To reduce the impact on our bankroll but still be able to play those games? Abi is like 4$, this big field tournaments with lots on top are high variance, mixing it up with lower field sizes on partypoker and unibet (and stars most of the time). It doesn't make sense for you?
Well it makes sense as in I understand how selling action works, but in your spot it seems like you are increasing variance but aren't increasing expectation. If anything, you're lowering your expectation, you'd likely make more money having 100% of yourself in a $4 than 20% of yourself in a $20.

long grind, seen so much today. Mtt poker attracts so much fish, but looks like its soo diffcult to own them.
All by al I end up on the FT of one of the smaller mtt of the day on gg, 2.5 turbostack
utg is a fish, opening all over the place. So I decided to shove 1010 in the big blind, lose the flip.
difficult spot on the FT, what to do with 99 here? I ended up folding

Tomorrow I'm planning of do the same schedule of APT (% to sell again on GG) but start maybe a little bit earlier. Girlfriend want some quality time in the evening.
I would fold with 99s there as well, 3bet from ongtopoker seems very strong, he is 3betting against a huge chipleader with many shorter stacks in the table.

Very afwull day in the fiels. APL fields are full of asian fishes, but I can't manage a single win against them. They getting it in very bad, but gg helps a hand every time. one of the days you are willing to believe GG is rigged as ****ed. But we know better, are we?

Maybe I play tomorrow a small buy in session as confidence boost, but at the moment I don't feel like playing poker at all.
I will quit on Unibet poker after today, shitty software, shitty tournaments and no runners in downtime. Plus one poker lobby less on the second monitor will be nice.
We doubled our bankroll in 20 days, soo we can't complain. But today I will.
