NL10 to NL50 Challenge

NL10 to NL50 Challenge

Hello everybody ! I will cut the crap and go straight to the point .

I cannot pass NL10 , I will simply not play lower than that because is too much of a waste of time .

I know I should study and learn more but I want to get more into the parts that I don't know. I think if I will post here my little journey I can get help from better players to improve.

My bankroll is now 180$ but I will top up a little from my pocket to have a proper one for the stakes that I'm currently playing ( nl10 )

I will post as much as I can and try to improve from your advice 😀

I've noticed that I lose alot of value for example when I have an over pair when I 3 barrel . I should check more to induce a bluff from hands like AK,AK,AQ,AJ ,KQ under pairs or top pairs on a dry board

I will try to post today's results if i would find out how to get that data from poker tracker

Best of luck will be following!

Thank you !

Not too much today session . Lost like 7$ after like playing couple of hours 8 tables on Stars.

I have observed that many of the hands that have put me down on this session were actually the ones that I ve got 3 betted after my raise and for example on a KKK26 i called a big bet or more againsta TT+

People still bluff on this stakes but not that much. Another thing that I have learned is that i need to get rid more easily by second best hand when I feel like I'm beaten.
Other stuff would be to not fall in love with JJ+ and start balancing my bet or check thing on flop and turn for value a little bit more because after a very long sesion people notice that after i 3 bet and hit my ACE I check the flop then bet on the turn.

I've got Poker Tracker 4 but I don't understand the statistics that well..from what I've checked on the internet I've seen that the larger the gap between the stats the higher posibility that I'm dealing with a fish PS I'm not saying that I'm something else but but I'm doing it for the purpose of describing a sitation ...otherwise I would play higher limits ... hahah I cannot even win nl10 for the moment ..

Anyway hope that my english is understandable , is not my main language and in caise that you are reading my post thanks for the effort 😀

I need to learn to see in PT4 todays results and hands played because I want to keep an weekly goal ..

Good or bad ,stupid or idiot I'm gonna post here and see what can I do in 3 months period xD

I'm keep tring to look for the big hands that I've lost . Need to check how to use PT4 better

keep at it bro! Following

****ed my bankroll due to soccer betting .. I lost my control ...

Need to never touch my bankroll again !!!

I wil need to work hard , these days to keep up with my living expanses and recover my bankroll

Be right back!!!

Bankroll is recovered I will be at the tables these days for sure .

Question to ask . I ve been looking to improve my game and start reading some poker books but I don t think they help that much apart from If the boadr is A-2-8 and u have A-Q u should fold on the river if vilain 3 barrel you ...being for sure beating by A-K or a set .

I feel like this is a waste of time and I should get into hand reading more , blockers , know how to tag a player by his stats and play accordanly .

I'm planning to but and study , "From the ground up by Runitonce" . Please if you have better ideas let me know . Thank you and bless you all .

Just study: From the ground up. Its decent enough to beat 10NL

Your bigger problem lies with the amount of tables that you are playing. At this point you should only play one maaaaybe two tables at once.
You are learning so you need to pay attention. You need to see what type of player everybody is and then you can think about how to play against them and beat them.

and if you are playing regular cashgames then you should also table select like a m*therf*cker, it makes a huges difference. Also the time that you are playing makes a big difference. weekday mornings are not going to so profitable as lets say a saterdaynight.

There is allot you can do to become profitable without becomming a better player. this is easy to do and takes no time. just table select en timestamp select.

The next thing is focussing on getting better and there are many ways to do that. That really depends on what kind of person you are and what works for you.

Tips:
- a course like from the ground up
- youtube you can also find allot
- Looking at your handhistory and most importantly -> post hands on forum and get feedback.
- look for a skype poker buddy with ho you can disscuss hands with
- Invest in a micro cashgame coach for cheap (they are out there)

Poker is a hobby for now and most likely will not make you any big money any time soon (yes it is possible if you are good etc.). treat it like a hobby, so spending 100$ on a micro coach per month (if you can affort it) is still duable if you have a job.

Your goal is to become a better player but you also want to keep the game fun and have the feeling that you are progressing in your understanding of the game.

Greetings
