mornings in Vegas are for daily's, gym time or sleeping in
couldn't disagree more ... often managed to get into an overnight game that was till running, amazing action usually.
some guys are stuck, trying to get back to even, 1 or 2 half drunk, 1-2 big winners who just sit there admiring their big stacks and don't play anymore (unless its super nuts)

are poker room rates at hotel/casino still a thing or did that go away due to greed?
would i get more value of my money if i went the airbnb/vrbo route or is a casino better to stay at? if staying at casino would want it to be 4 stars or better.
would prefer staying on strip or close to. I would be uber/lyfting to places but wouldnt mind walking places on strip at night when its a little cooler.
Google, Priceline, Vegas.com are all pretty effective at finding hotel rates.

Where should I park for a going to a 5pm event on a Monday at the Sphere? Venetian pedestrian bridge will apparently be closed that day.
Can't walk too far because bringing seniors.

Bellagio is the closest MGM and yeah with Gold parking is free. still a bit of a walk. if that's a problem, may have to suck it up and pay for parking closer. everywhere near is $ unless you have status
How much for nearby parking? I know parking at the Wynn/Encore is free for 3 hours or would be $30 or whatever. If paying $30 or something for parking is expected, is there a good lot back there at the sphere?

In the good ol' USofA "take an Uber" means to pay for a ride in a combustion engine vehicle that is owned by an individual rather than a taxi company, although it is very similar to a taxi. It does not mean "to walk".
The ride share apps allow you to specify an e-car. :p

i wil say that last summer i did see rio for 5 nights for like 650$ or so which, even if its rio, still a banger price

you need some connections In Las Vegas.. if you think that's a deal for 5 nights at the Rio .
