$25----->25k Bankroll Challenge on Ignition
I am going to be starting with $25 in my Ignition Account and try to spin it up to $25,000.
I will start at 5nl since it is the lowest stake on the site and be playing Ignition Reg tables only.
I will be updating every 5k hands with my progress.
My expectation for each limit is as follows:
Expected Winrates for each limit:
5NL: 30bb/100
10NL: 25bb/100
25NL: 20bb/100
50NL: 15bb/100
100NL: 12bb/100
200NL: 10bb/100
Variance will be a decent factor in a lot of these winrates but these are just ball park numbers. Once I hit 25k I will take a 10buyin shot at 500nl! As far as moving up I'll move up whenever I feel like it, but probably after winning 30-40 buyins at the limit.
There will be no cherry picking here since you can't cherry pick a Bankroll Challenge. Wish me luck (or not) and follow along in this thread.
how’s the challenge going so far? how much are you up from 25$?
AI preflop play ftw

wait you're up ~5k total and you're still at nl25? why?
No I'm not up 5k that rakeback isn't right. It's only 27%. That rakeback is set at 100% rakeback so it should just say total rake instead of rakeback.
I'm up like maybe $3500.
I wrote about this before but I was scammed for a **** ton of money (like 80k in crypto today) so as a result I had to cash out some money from the BR here. That's why I haven't moved up.

x turn better line? for an easier life: can call every non draw river and fold the rest.
AP see merit in jamming and folding but calling seems pretty pointless. I'd probably autofold but it's such a weird line that it's got to be quite fish dependent. Vs badreg or common/passive fish a reluctant muck. Vs whale/aggro/good reg wahey

Can’t check turn on the safest card in the deck imo.
Can’t ask a Solver because preflop is too wide.
Can’t ask MDA because the line is too rare.
There is only one hope!

What if you x-c flop rather than x-r? Then you could easily call most blank turns and call/give up some rivers. But I guess you weren't expecting to be min-raised on turn after x-raising flop. I find this turn raise particularly confusing.

I’m assuming you mean raise flop since he donked?
Yeah the turn raise is interesting. I definitely didn’t expect him to min XR turn although now I get to figure this spot out so it’s not all bad.
Yes, my bad. Donk is not insignificant since you expect Villain to 3bet flop with nutted combos.

You have to shove or fold given effective stacks, I assume. The min xr doesn't make sense re combo draws. Maybe BB thought the SPR was too high to shove and that your 75% turn size suggested you would xb most rivers?
I'll let you figure it out ...
