The thing about pistachio farming is that the harvest (or, as we like to call it - the "2nd half" of pistachio growing) doesn't count more than the "first half."
See, being heroic in the 2nd half is all well and good, but when you have to be heroic in the picking of the pistachios just because you made many mistakes in the planting of the pistachios doesn't forgive those mistakes in the first half.
Any good pistachio farmer knows the first half counts just as much as the 2nd half.
It's the mistake-free pistachio farmer who usually brings in a winning harvest.

He's 38. Even if he fails in Chicago, he will still get another chance if he succeeds at coordinator at a second pace.
