2024 Fantasy Football Thread

Got a decent amount through to the semifinal, but unfortunately most had lions and ravens, so only 2 somewhat live teams left both in the mitten 2

Qb - Mahomes, Stroud

Rb - Saquon, Mixon

Wr/te - Kelce, Worthy, Hollywood, Goedert, Reed, Nico

So 6 active and 6 for a chiefs/eagles Super Bowl

The second one I honestly have no idea how I drafted this team and why I grabbed Steelers at the end. I think I obviously got sniped on Mahomes early and then Darnold later, but kinda a funny looking team. Wish I grabbed like ertz/ekler instead of Steelers

Wr/te - kelce, Mclaurin , JJ, Addison, Pickens

Not the best, but at least I’ll have 5 in a Commanders/Chiefs Super Bowl and Saquon as an advance rate piece this round

I've only got this team with a chance, but it's stacked if KC gets to the SB.

Yep which only means we're getting a BUF/WAS Super Bowl, but if we're being honest, that's probably the most entertaining matchup.

BJ to the Bears is not bullish for Swift.

1.01 . Was gonna take Jeanty but it’s a superflex league .

I got Goff , Swift , a 2nd and a 3rd for the pick .

If I was going to move that pick for a QB, I’d remove the other pieces and find someone more valuable than Goff.

I think Jeanty is going to crush. But obviously more volatility in RBs.

Hasn’t historically the record breaking college RBs been busts in the nfl ?

And that was by far the best offer I got for the pick .

This is not a good year to need a head coach. There were no Paytons or Harboughs out there so the Bears had to settle for a first time head coach who could be another Nate Hackett.

Highly drafted RBs have a very high hit rate. And right now, the expectation is that Jeanty will be at least top 15.

Hopefully Ben Johnson works his magic on Swift and jeanty busts or lol me.

Really? Hackett? That’s just insulting.

Over half the league has guys who were first year HCs with their current org.

Ben has shown remarkable success over multiple seasons. I can’t say with certainty that he’ll be a good HC, but I wouldn’t bet against it.

The change from OC to HC is a big transition, but just because the best candidate might not have experience doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a high ceiling. And really, it’s Super Bowl upside or bust when hiring a HC.

I had already decided to be heavy on whatever team hired Ben.

Will initially focus on DJM, Caleb and Rome, and then see how things shake out with FA and the draft. Probably sprinkle in some Kmet too, as he should be cheap.

As a bears fan I was resigned to quitting the team when they inevitably signed McCarthy, I am so happy that they got Ben and I don’t have to find a new team to cheer for!

Yeah, I’ve just never been that into him. But need to adjust priors given the change.

Interested to see how the market reacts.

After 2023, there was a lot of discussion of making adjustments due to the QB injuries. Then they mostly stayed healthy.

Last year was definitely the year of the running backs . Not so sure that trend continues.

The RB market is going to be tough to gauge, outside of the few at the top, especially with the incoming rookies.
