If you freeze frame it without the heart business and ignore what he said it's possible to conflate it with a nazi salute, but then when you put your thinking cap on for 2 seconds you realize that OF COURSE he is not intending to do that.

It's a controversy because in 2025, a big portion of so many peoples income is derived off of funneling clicks which often necessitates escalating and provoking things to the max - it's just a big part of how our economy functions and it certainly leads to a shitstorm of problems.

It looked just like a nazi salute, so does all the other famous people who unfortunately stuck their arm up in similar fashion at literally one point in their recorded lives.
