It both clearly resembles a nazi salute and he clearly did not intend for it to be similar to a nazi salute and so implies basically nothing at all.
All these other examples of famous people just unfortunately doing a Sig Heil. Give me two. Two videos of two famous people giving a full blown sig heil. Not a picture of their arm in an awkward postion. A video of them unfortunately throwing out a Nazi salute

1-5 are reasonable things to criticize musk for, are intentional actions on his part, and fit into a particular pattern worthy of critique. 6 is just a regrettable but completely unintended coincidence that does nothing to support the criticisms of musk in 1-5. Just entirely disconnected.
I think why this annoys me is that people criticizing 6 which is just a silly hand gesture that implies nothing makes it seem like the same people bleating about 1-5 are being similarly ridiculous. But they aren't. 1-5 are legit criticisms. 6 isn't. Focus on 1-5.

Its pretty simple. He said from my heart to yours while doing it. So to pretend he meant anything else and that it magically connects to some rightward political shift of items 1-5 is just nonsense. If you want to say it was regrettable that he accidentally made a gesture with similarities to nazis, fine, I don’t like it too, but your posts seem to imply this is thematic when there is exactly zero reason to think it is.
