Vegas Casino Sale Megathread
So lots going on lately with casino sales. Here's the current list.
Rio: SOLD
Circus Circus: SOLD
Bellagio: SOLD
MGM Grand: For sale
Ballys: Rumored for sale
Planet Hollywood: Rumored for sale
Cosmo: Rumors they were seeking a sale, but less likely with Bellagio being sold.
Curious to see what else sells. Does this actually make the Vegas market more competitive or just more of the same. It seems like all these sales are just lease-backs. (Not the case for Circus Circus)

Las Vegas legend Circus Circus for sale, billionaire owner says in interview
"Ruffin bought the property from MGM Resorts International in 2019 for $825 million. Now he says it’s worth $5 billion and there’s interest from buyers."
Yea, I promise he is getting $5 billion for it. lol
The area around Circus Circus has improved considerably. Resorts World opened just to the south in June of 2021. Fontainebleau opened just to the north in December of 2023.
How much is that land worth with the intention of building a new resort?
Not 5 billion...
102 acres is huge but, look at Fountainebleau tanking and Resorts World not doing good either.
The lot shape is not the best, it's narrow and deep. There's not a lot of Strip frontage.
So does Sammy Davis aka Industrial turn into the new Koval Lane?
Could be. I got an email from Deja Vu strip club on Industrial announcing a re-opening. I loved that place when I stayed at Stardust because it was in stumbling distance.
You making a parcel delivery to Little Darlings? There’s a joke here somewhere.
Someone posted a picture of the Little Darlings sign the other day in r/vegaslocals "Now Auditioning TikTok influencers"
That picture is a few years old.

Does it include the adjacent vacant land on Sahara? I think it does. If so, buy out the Tr@vel Lodge and maybe the Hilton Grand Vaca (but could build around this easily) and the acreage and frontage are huge.
Even just from the hotel tower on Resorts World upto the Hilton would have frontage equal to many of the megas
Here's a package!
Deja Vu is a nationwide chain, that Little Darlings is a part of. The place on Industrial is not a Little Darlings, it's a Deja Vu place.
Sometime in the last 25 or 30 years I must have sent them an email, maybe asking about hours or whatever.
