I think it's a fine hire for a loser franchise with terrible culture. Get someone in to set a good foundation, so that if they draft correctly in the next 3 years they can then find the next hotshot coach to actually take them to the next level
Exactly. Pete provides stability and leadership to a franchise desperately needing it.
Pete is also good at evaluating talent, which has been a chronically weak spot for the Raidahs.

I would take that bet. For living, Pete wins for sure but for coaching…my guess Pete lasts a max of 3 years but probably 2. Andy has Mahomes and will stay for way longer
