Without knowing effective stack sizes...
I had about 12000 peso and my opponent had about 10000 peso.
Seems good to me.
Welcome to the forum, OP. Please do not reveal results (including your last action) until discussion dies down, or at least 24 hours. Knowing what happened leads to biased advice. I edited the post for you, including adding stack and pot sizes to make it easier to follow.
Thank you. I want to know that you think what hand an opponent had. If an opponent bluffed, what was the bluff hand in this situation.
I mean, this is the equivalent of 1/2. People are just clicking buttons and could easily have a hand like TT, JJ, 9x, but also some reasonable bluff hands like AdKx, AxKd, etc. T8 is a missed atraight draw and he can also turn some weaker pairs into bluffs.
For value he can have a flush, 65 for the straight, a set.
I would probably call, but a description of the villain would be nice.
It's unreasonable to think we are going to know exactly what villain had here. We all we can do is put him on a range of hands that are plausible.
Flop bet is chunky for multiway. I personally like 1/4 pot to 1/2 pot multiway a lot.
You could bet turn too, recognizing there are hands with equity against us and hands that will call us that we currently beat. We also have a draw to the third nuts. But as played, the river bet is already getting about the same amount of money in the pot.
If you don't have ♦️ in QQ, would you call?
Everything is wonky from the start due to the limp/cold call, so ranging your opponent is inevitably going to involve a little guesswork here.
I don't mind the large flop bet. The limper will likely make mistakes, while you're going hard after CO can be very JJ/TT-heavy here. CO shouldn't ever have two pair, and may not have 44 (possibly not 77).
Now that the limper calls but the CO folds, you're happy that the weaker player is in there but it hasn't really helped define his range. I'd expect a lot of flush draws, JJ-TT, sets, 9x. Maybe some straight draws, but that depends on preflop range.
Checking the flushing turn is fine. Perhaps betting turn intending to check back rivers could also work???
I'd call river based on (1) this being a weak player, (2) having Qd in your hand, (3) opponent can still have an overpairnor 9x for value, (4) turn having gone check-check so he has the green light to bet. However, what naked Ad hands does opponent call the large flop bet with? Maybe he calls flop with, say, ATss. T8 is a natural bluffs candidate, but preflop?
It's probably pretty close. Without Qd I might fold. I probably call here
Some reads on V would be nice. Tight, passive, stabs at pots / scare cards, only bets the nuts, etc.?
W/o info, I think the hand was played fine and I probably call the river expecting to see a pair less than QQ or a bluff. Of course, you might run into 8d9d or AdXd or even 56 or AA, lol.
Really is a "table" read -- the vibe you get from villain...
Thank you for your opinion. It was helpful.
