As far as the Terry probe, seems pretty legit to me. The NBA was alerted to unusual betting activity back then, investigated, and decided no wrongdoing. Now the fact the US Attorney's office is probing doesn't seem great for Terry. It's lumped into the same probe as Porter.

So, like, this is probably not great for the league right? Especially with out David "The Don" Stern around anymore to stop this ****.

And while I'm sure this guy is just ****ing around, guys leaving games early with unexplained minor injuries happens enough that you can probably think back not too far to the last time you saw it. Guys are going to keep popping up in things like this. Not that throwing games/point shaving hasn't gone on since like 1919, but the absolute tight nit nature of sportsbetting and the NBA isn't going to help perception.

If I'm a league vet on an awful team, nothing would make want to play harder at the end of an impossibly long season than helping to draft some 18yo kid that the media is sucking off as my replacement.

Is it a big deal that Wemby is a reserve and not a starter for the ASG, or is it more about the overall talent level?

Lebron got the start in his 2nd year. Just doing a side by side comparison, a lot of the major stats are similar (Lebron avg 27 pts and Wemby is at 24 pts). But Wemby is also playing like 9 or 10 fewer minutes a game.
