English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
Tel said no to Tottenham? LOL.
One talk with Levy was all it took

Cant imagine we would get him but Tomori would be very good
Yeah, Levy has spent £400m in the last 3 windows so I don't think you can accuse him of not investing in the squad.
Tomori deal looks close, €25m all in is a good deal.
We still don't pay quite top wages and that's the issue.
I'm sure Tel would have come for £250k per week. However, as we found out with Ndombele, paying players stupid money might guarantee they sign, but doesn't guarantee they will perform.
If spurs buy 2 players in this window and we don't get reinforcements then watch Havertz do his hamstring in the next midweek game I'm going to go ballistic
Forest are a decent enough outfit but this run is kinda Leicesteresque. Everything just seems to go their way.
Yeah seems like they score every chance they get

That would make him our highest payer by a margin of 50k a week. Very much doubt we would have paid that.
Arsenal have 4 players paid more than our top earner, and we have the 7th highest wage bill (and we're always around there).
Wages are the biggest liability on a club's balance sheet (outside of stadium debt obv but that's managed a little differently) so it isn't surprising, you don't want to get in a situation where you're paying Casemiro, Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford a combined £46.8M a year base salary (like 9% of your entire gross revenue on just 3 players that don't or shouldn't play lol), because it becomes unsustainable, but there is still so much more room there.
Didn't see this result coming
I had thought that their GD of +6 meant they'd been running hot and a correction was due. Now this.
Happy for Chris Wood, even if he is absolutely killing my fpl. Need all the "morning wood" type jokes to stop though imo
Not sure if Everton beating Leicester is good or bad for us, pushes us down into 16th BUT keeps Leicester down there.
Southampton getting at least a point from Ipswich would be good.
Levy has absolutely no problem spending money on transfer fees.
Tel was probably just too good and he needed someone more on Richy or Ndombele level
I like the player and would absolutely 100% want Tel at Arsenal, but to be completely fair, a 60m deal falling through for a raw striker with no goals this season isn’t the end of the world by any means.
Latest news seems like Tomori is off too.

Wolves beating Villa would be ****ing terrible for us. Stupid Arsenal unsettling them by bidding for Watkins. Conspiracy.
If someones bet on Villa here can they sue pgmol asking for a friend
