It's more based on culture and ideology I think and more like the Stalinist kind of totalitarianism, which is horrible too, but I wouldn't call it Nazism or Nazi-like. Italy is kind of weird in here in that I don't think (Luciom you probably know more about this) that Italian Fascism was nearly as racialized as German or Japanese and Mussolini, as I understand, wasn't even keen to persecute Jews.
