I honestly have no idea why Dallas would ever want to do this trade regardless of worrying about Luka's conditioning. Who the **** cares?

Couldn't they have gotten all the picks from someone like OKC? Why AD and a Lakers first?
I find it hard to believe Mavs are going to have AD, Gafford and Lively on the roster. Seems both those guys have shown they are too good to just be doing 10 minute backup run a game, much less splitting backup run. So hard to believe there isn't more moves coming for Mavs. But damn if I know what they are.
Eagerly awaiting the Bill Simmons emergency pod to break it all down.

He only has a calf strain (nothing structural) and was coming back in the near future.

Rudy Gobert is worth 5-7 first round picks. How many is Davis worth?
Luka, Lebron and Reaves seem very redundant and defensively problematic. And going with Hayes at center doesn't seem great. Wonder if Lakers aren't done.

I just don't get how you trade Luka without getting a million good picks. AD is 6 years older. You aren't in win-now mode if you don't have Luka on your team.
