SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
Oh clockwork is capitalized so yeah must be Orange
Don't really know my types of oranges unfortunately, blood is one
Valencia and jaffa maybe?
Anyway you can go ahead and bold AE
Yea gotta be that let's go
Orange
Good job and great clue d1
clementine was my c10, which yβall did know
c5 was color
c6 that wasnβt citrus was cuties; I assume yβall know what those are? Orange is only option for that clue if you know them
F5 fruit again
Other c9 like n4 Nemo was clownfish, which I didnβt think was d1βs, but only c9 I could think of
Great clue! I def didn't know some of the confirmers but knowing clockwork orange and you capitalized it for us made it an absolute slam dunk
Round 22
Cards used: 22
Guessers: ervin/ibd
The Board:
IH | T | WF | UNKQ
The target word:
I've pmed it to d1iabol1cal, pogcrazy94, doctor zeus, bolt2112
Note: These are the last 4 cards in the game
h4/h5 is an option
n6 is another
I forgot, are we allowed to mention T and WF clues now there are less cards left?
N6 first thing that came to mind
yeah you can always mention 1 word in on either side for clues, so now all 4 cards can be mentioned since everything is within 1 card of a side
can only actually clue from the sides, of course
T7 and T8 are good confirmers
N6 I like but ih we probably wanna ditch?
H5 is ok
n6 prolly gets there and they can prolly deduce h4/h5 easier than deducing n6 from h4/h5 clue?
I think we try to work out a few more confirmers and then we clue n6.
H11 could be a decent confirmer. And so is F6.
H9 also good going a completely different route
W7 for the same route, related to H9
Yeah, n6.
nutmeg
T8 tarragon
But no t5 thyme
Not sure what a t7 would be
h4 heat also works along with herb
I'm thinking it's another word than spice but not sure what yet
I would think h3 - hot would get mentioned, there would be a bunch of spicy foods like kimchi and whatever mentioned
I haven't thought of anything better yet tho
Hot gets us spicy, which is not the same word as spice.
Kimchi also gets us spicy
Looking again to see if ginger fits that's a solid idea too
