I like the deal for GS. I think miami basically got nothing in return depending on how protected the pick is but Butler did that to them.
Gotta give Steph a shot and if they can acquire someone else plus keep draymond (or move draymond and get a good 3+D) they can make some noise. Probably not enough to win but fuck it. The future is short in the NBA, who cares about 5 years from now.

Sure he's "overpaid" but it's 2 years of what you gotta figure he still has left in the tank. I just know with what they had they were going nowhere this year and maybe next. Jimmy's a great playoff performer. They still gotta improve a lot or the deal is moot

Fox was great first half 18 pts 6 asst but was gassed 2H. Coming back from injury - flying in - doing physical. All he did so far was run on a treadmill yesterday.
Wish I laddered his assists tonight. Him feeding his new teammates made so much sense…

Mark Williams is a very very interesting choice. He’s been unstoppable in little streaks of games. Huge durability concerns. Maybe the perfect balance of what they need now but also youth and upside to fit with a longer window.

I was surprised to see his stats during the championship season are basically identical to this season. I honestly don't see how this trade does anything for them. But they were screwed anyway, as everyone is just older and worse.

I like the trade for both sides. Mark has had a lot of trouble staying healthy and the Hornets were happy to move off of that risk. He also has the upside to really boost LA.
Knecht is likely a career role player, but he's a great shooter. The pick swap and unprotected first add some nice upside, especially if Luka gets fatter. Though, LeBron could still be playing then.
