There isn't a lot of 5nl and 10nl. But the games do run sometimes.

I suspect there will be an uptick in these limits once the Leaderboards get released.

New Feature Launching Monday: Grind Prix Leaderboard

Welcome to the Grind Prix, our weekly online poker progressive points race! There's no cost to enter, it's just our way of giving more back to the community.

The more you play, the more the prize grows, the more you can win.

How To Participate

Do you play on Phenom Poker? That's all you need to do! As you play and generate rake, you will earn points that will vault you up the Grind Prix leaderboard. Everyone who generates at least 20 USDT in rake for the week qualifies for leaderboard rewards, which is calculated from 00:00 GMT on Monday to 23:59 GMT on Sunday.

Grind Prix Prizes

Each week has a $500 minimum guaranteed prize pool, which increases based on the amount of rake generated on qualified tables. 5% of qualified rake goes towards the Grind Prix, with 4% increasing the current week's total rewards and 1% going towards the next week's seed. Tournaments, sit-and-go tables and heads-up games are ineligible.

1) could always go to zero wiping any gains
2) will make it so i'll never want to hold any sizable bankroll on the site
3) let's say it does well, then games dry up because people don't want to "gamble" with their "investment"

no it's not... do a little more research... games are in USDT

Games are all in USDT, rakeback is rewarded in Phenom Tokens.

When you get your tokens on Mondays, you can exchange them back into USDT if you please.

However, many players are choosing to hold on to them because they represent ownership of the site. You receive weekly revenue shares of the rake from the prior week based on the number tokens you hold. They really are NOT a shitcoin. They can ONLY be acquired via rakeback or referrals. Nobody can outright buy them.

What countries are allowed? Site wants me to do the KYC before even knowing if I'll be allowed to play on their site from my jurisdiction, that seems silly (albeit convenient to get all my data lol)

If your Country dsnt specifically ban Online Poker, You're prlly ok. Site has no interest in your Data...lol. Its a security precaution to help slow the rampant Online cheating of multi accounting and RTAs, Bots etc etc etc etc.

Looking to play but every exchange I look at has like a week long hold on deposits before I can transfer out. Does anyone know of a place to buy a low amount of crypto so I can hop on tonight? Or is that pretty much impossible?

This is definitely one of the biggest barriers for players that never deposited crypto and are making their first deposit here.

I had to wait a week before I could play too.

Also, after depositing on an exchange, it's recommended to send the crypto first to a defi wallet before depositing to your Phenom wallet.

I used Kraken for exchange and Metamask as my defi wallet.

There are a bunch of tutorials on their YouTube.

On most exchanges if you use a debit card to purchase crypto you can send off the site instantly. Only the bank transfers take a week. The only downside is debit cards have a fee but the bank transfers to your USD balance do not

What games/limits are you looking for? If it's NLH, yes, that growth has been somewhat slow. If it's mixed games, Big O, PLO5, we're absolutely seeing tremendous growth and people have cleared the full bonus even back when we weren't consistently setting new traffic records each week.

since you acknowledge the difficulty in clearing a bonus for nl, why not remove any expiration on it for people who sign up now?

Hey Rick, that's a valid question, but there's a good reason why that wouldn't help us achieve our goals. Deposit bonuses are meant to drive more traffic, so if we allowed folks to wait/hold that bonus until there was more traffic, it would just be giving money away.

Now, as I mentioned before, we've grown by leaps and bounds and tournaments are also on the horizon. We had people clear the entirety of their bonuses the last time through (3000 USDT) and with so many more options now, it's definitely doable.
