Not really. As far as I know, the word was used by the ancient Greeks to refer to foreigners. In other words, I don't think we have any reason to believe that the term would have been used to describe a Greek person with a stuttering problem.
I guess I'll announce that I'll be helping out with modding P&S. If you've seen my posting you will know that they must be pretty desperate to bring me on.
My general vision for modding is that hopefully you wont even know I'm here. Don't be a relentless overt PoS and I'll never have to do anything.
I'm mostly doing this to give myself an undertitle. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I’m actually still a mod, so no. No one can do that, and they shouldn’t either way. I already discussed his ban in the moderator forum. It’s been amended to a perma for the last time.
And he’s banned because after I lifted his perma the first time, he again engaged in the same harassing behaviors like spamming me with PMs, calling everything and everyone under the sun an antisemite, his total inability to control his own emotions like a big boy, and finally calling me slurs. He’s not getting any more special treatment, we are not gifting him with any extra lives. Mets should spend his time IRL becoming a better person. He needs it.
We’re currently experimenting with keeping the forum open with extra help. Coordi is that help. I am taking a short break by the seaside at the moment. If it all falls apart, the forum gets closed, so maybe try not to be an insufferable pita in the meantime. Thanks.

It sounds like Coordi is the substitute teacher while the usual teacher is on break. It sounds like Coordi is going to be taking a hands off approach. This is quite different from your more micro managy approach. When you get back this forum is going to be different from when you left it. Will there be a transition time for posters or are you gonna come back guns a blazing?

We had segregation so whites benefited from building their schools and buildings with black tax dollars.
It was arguably one of the most socialist times in American history. It had the highest corporate and high-end tax rates in history. Additionally the new deal was in full swing (for the white man): building cheap houses, throw money at education and housing, and providing amazing government jobs basically all over the country.
Don't forget the top tax rate was 90%. We don't mean that part, though, right? I think the only part you were actually referring to was the racism and sexism.
He accomplished more on the first day than Biden did his whole Presidency. It's nice to have an available President who actually goes out in public and answers questions. It's great that we are getting back to moral values. It's great that we are using common sense.

I personally did quite well in the first Trump Presidency. I wonder what he could have accomplished if he wasn't being harassed by the Democrats and the Never Trumpers. The years of government waste are over. The years of weaponizing the DOJ are over. The US is taking back what is rightfully ours.
