KK on AKTJA

KK on AKTJA

Think I may have made mistakes. 1/3 NL, I just sat down two rounds ago but appear aggressive preflop. Villain is older, seems somewhat loose but competent player. About 400 effective stacks.

I raise to 15 UTG +1 with KK, villain calls in SB. Flop AKT,r. Check, I bet 15, call. Turn a J for AKTJ putting a 2-flush out there, check/check. River is an offsuit A for AKTJA. SB leads for 40 into about 60. What should I do?

Raise to something like $125 and puke if he jams. Some players will call QX here (esp AQ) and Villain can have a worse full house occasionally.

Turn you can keep betting with a small size there as you still have value targets and can call a x/raise.

River We have a clear value raise and can fold to a jam usually given pool will not be 3bet jamming enough Qx or weaker boats imo.

I thought maybe I should have bet the turn. I thought maybe bigger on the flop, as either he hit this flop or he didn't.

I raised the river to 140. He called with ATs.

There wasn't much that should 3! for value or much chance of a bluff 3-bet. There was 1 combination of AA and 4 of AK, and he should have 3! those preflop.
