Is this ever a fold in this configuration preflop, AKo UTG?
Hero opened to 8 from UTG. Hero had about 300.
MP1 (tight weak, even weaker post-flop, playing 150) called, MP2 (90 effective, older fish) called.
CO 3! to 55. CO is around 40, black, he had us covered, and this is his first 3! in the last two hours.
Hero?

This could be a shove vs some opponents but 100bb deep, having put $8 in the pot against a perceived passive V who knows we opened UTG, I’m happy folding and moving on.

Thanks for the first reply!
I have to say in my local casino lots of bad regs do not understand what "UTG open" means - it makes no difference to them.
I am more worried about the two MPs because our hand doesn't do well multi-way. For people who are 'comfortable' being short stacked and not topping up, I wonder what range will they call a 3! and a jam considering themselves being 'priced in'.
Not sure I phrased the question well enough. It is hard for me to get into their head and understand why are they hanging around with a stack of 90. Let's say neither the CO nor hero's image is particularly bad, do the MPs actually have a range that they flat my first open, and then call my jam?
Nobody here can answer what the motivation of your short stacked opponents are. You are playing with them so you should range them. I can tell you that they suck. Good players don’t short stack and passively flat pre.
And why would you “worry” about people sitting with less than 50bb when you have AK?
Flatting the 3-bet is not an option so I would shove or fold depending on the CO’s range and tendencies and wouldn’t pay much attention to the other players.

While I understand the motivation to mention race in order to fully "paint a picture, " typing it like this just seems unnecessary and sounds really weird.
If you were to jam and get called by one - or both - of the short stackers, you'd be in great shape. The problem is the tight 3bettor who is uncapped and has a snug range. The squeeze size is enormous as well. You've only invested 4BB so far, you can probably fold. CO may not have many hands here other than QQ+/AK and if your jam did fold out everyone else then your implied odds aren't great. Calling is obviously by far the worst option.
At times, this very large 3! by a snug player is QQ-TT that they know they should raise, but don't really want to play post-flop. But even against that, AKo is a 57-43 dog. (Surprised me too, I'd thought it was closer for some reason.) Much worse if it's a case of "OMG!Acez!! I raise!!," of course.
We're not getting enough of an overlay from the 2 clueless limpers, so fold.
Yeah this is a fold. I think a lot of players just shrug and jam here and see QQ+. You're boned against that range.
Spoiler
Hero tank folded.
MP1 folded, MP2 thought for a long while before folding 77 faced up.
CO showed AQs. He's lucky to get away with this one, not just from my AKo, but also MP2's 77.

Depends. Has CO seen us raising a lot, and showing down garbage? Does it seem likely the two middle players will over-call behind us?
