AA on bad board

Live £1/£1

AcAh

Several limps
Hero raises BTN to £15 (£400) Covers
2 calls
CO calls (£100)

Flop QdJd4d (£62)
Hero bets £20
Co Calls

Turn Kc (£102)
Checks through

I really don't like this board, but V also only has about 2/3 pot behind so Maybe I should just be shoving here?

River Qh (£102)
Co checks
Hero?

I think this is a bad board and wasn't sure if betting here was good idea.

Betting river makes no sense as value or a bluff. Just check back and take your showdown value.

Looks OK to me, not much else you can do other than laugh at the runout, a bad flop which just gets worse, what can you do. Betting river would be too thin for me, what are you getting calls from apart from KdX and counterfeited KJ?

I probably check the flop, although a small protection bet is probably OK

Yeah I do check a lot here but was concerned someone might have small pair with a diamond and didnt want to give them a free card

It's hard to flop a flush. I'd c-bet flop super small, like $10, and barrel turn for around 1/3-1/2 pot, like $30. River just sucks, but he's not deep enough to worry about it, so I just stick the rest in.

As played, I think we can get value from KJ, KdXx and maybe even AdJx. If V only has 65 left, I probably just stick it in. If we value own ourselves, so be it.

I'm fine pre and post. I can go either way on the river, but in game I probably just check it back.
