Second nuts

Second nuts

1/2 NL, effective stacks with main villain about 300. Main villain appears very old. His preflop raise and 3! sizes are nonstandard too small. He seems to play OK for the stakes.

Folded to me in CO, I raise to 10 with AhTs, BTN and BB call. Flop comes AsQsJs (about 27), BB leads for 15, I call, BTN folds. Turn is 4s for AsQsJs4s (about 55). BB checks, I bet 25, BB calls. River is 6c for AsQsJs4s6c (about 105). BB leads for 75, I call.

His river sizing polarizes his range to nuts/air I think. I'd understand if he donk small to blockbet or whatever w/sdv, but this sizing feels so much like valuebetting.

Also he chose to donk flop x/c turn donk river. This line look so suspicious.

I probably say nice hand and muck.

Don't raise to 10, max rake size.

Flop donk lead is weird on this kind of flop ... I'm not sure I can find a fold with this hand, but I don't think we are doing well vs. range and we have 1 out to something we want to put money in with.

Not betting this turn given flop donk. Maybe would bet if 6c hit and V checked.

River is either V being an idiot clicking buttons, or V has the nuts. Basically nobody is intentionally bluffing correctly here at 1-2 (I'm not even sure what combos. you are supposed to use for bluffs). It's almost certainly a fold without strong vibes that V can be super random here, but I've shrug called bad at the table before and I'll probably do it again.

Villain showed KsTc. He led the flop with a broadway straight and draw to the nut flush. His line of x/cing the turn actually worked. His whole line confused me.

Why not check back turn? Should be WAWB. We can raise river if needed.

As played I’m folding river, we are basically bluff catching.
