A poker passed away while playing, presumably suffered a heart attack, after making the money in a tournament in Texas. May he RIP. Link to article below,

RIP. Death is often so unpredictable. One can easily go ten years before what preparing for. Strength to the family. Posthumously finishing in the money will be one of his legacies.

Irv Gotti (I believe friend of Ivey’s) the famous hip hop producer/record label owner also died a couple of weeks ago, at a poker table.

Jack Strauss who won the Main Event at the 1982 WSOP after being down to one $500 chip died at a high stakes table at the Bicycle Club in California. Supposedly that was the start of the saying "All you need is a chip and a chair".
