last clue was basically telling us to guess everything but boom (but it was still fine to be safe) since boom was never going to be our +1 on a normal clue, so this seems straightforward to me

Boom and America were all we’d mentioned and boom is out. Even if America isn’t ours, it’s neutral at worst. With 11 total, Ervin has to have clued all the red words by now and none of them are America.
