2nd week of Nascar DFS went pretty well. Finished 13th out of 70k

Guess it's that time of the year where someone like myself isn't good enough to do the early drafts, but still needs to gamble on some form of football.

Feel really good about this one

Goff, Dak, Shaddeur

Kamara, Judkins, skattebo, Sampson, Chubb, J Hill, Mullings

CD, AJB, Tee, Jamo, Coker, Wicks, Bech, Tolbert

Kittle, Njoku

Judkins and Skattebo are two of my favorite rookies.

by tarheels2222 m

That one is nice.

Apparently almost all of the rookie RBs are big and fast.

This makes me wonder if Jeanty might fall. Teams may think there are so many great choices this year at RB it may be better to go with another position early. I heard there are 32 ish RB's who might be drafted. I think there will be several teams drafting multiple RB's this year.

Obviously Jeanty is a mega superstar so I wouldn't be shocked if he goes as high as 6 to the Raiders. If the Raiders sign a vet QB this could happen. Pairing Jeanty with Bowers would be nice. If they somehow signed a T Higgins they might start looking a little like the Lions minus the great O line.

I think it’s possible. Scarcity (lack of depth) at other positions could push teams off Jeanty and onto 2nd rd rbs, so that they can grab some of the top guys at other positions

But honestly Dallas is probably just gonna grab him at 12 no matter what

The difference in Jeanty's grade to the 2nd highest RB is larger than the gap between 1st and 2nd at any other position in this year's draft.

If he falls to Dallas and they pass. Fans should riot.

I would think so unless they sign Aaron Jones in free agency.

He is clearly a phenom. It's mind boggling to me that people think he will fall as late as pick 21. Maybe if there were 5 or 6 first round QB's but that's not the case this year. Also, free agency is not so good RB wise.

A counter argument is that teams could be afraid of pushing RB too far and falling prey to a run and missing out on certain tiers. It’ll be interesting to watch.

With that said, while we know some teams won’t draft rationally, I’m still of the opinion you shouldn’t pay big money to a RB or draft them highly if you’re not win now. Or if you don’t have the cap space and ability to become win now quickly. The Eagles paying Saquon, the Ravens paying Henry, the Lions drafting Gibbs etc.

But then you see what happens when bad to mediocre teams draft a RB highly. Saquon in NY, Bijan with Atl, etc.

Vegas should not draft Jeanty. The Cowboys always think they’re more win now than they are, but their roster has a lot of holes.

Jeanty with the Broncos would be insane. I think the Bears should take him, assuming that they were simply a coach away and Johnson turns it around.

Can you imagine if the 49ers take him? That’d be a mess for 2025.

I would be very happy if the bears drafted him

I think in most drafts, drafting rb early is bad, but I think Jeanty is special enough to draft early

A lot of Bears fans I talk to want the top OL, but honestly this ol class is pretty weak at the top and I’d rather they just overpay for the KC guard in FA

Assuming Ward and Sanders go in the top 6 I wonder if the price to move up will be cheaper this year. You won't have teams competing to get the third or 4th QB. That being said, this is such a deep draft in the second and third rounds do teams want to part with one or two of these picks?

When you say Jeanty to the Broncos would be insane is that as in good for them or stupid?

I think the Raiders could turn things around very quickly with Pete. They have a ton of money and an early pick. What if they signed Rodgers and traded for Adams. Draft Jeanty. Spend their Free agent money on the offensive line and defense. Maybe bring in Darnold. If they can somehow get the QB right drafting Jeanty may not be so dumb. I'm just brainstorming. I wouldn't want Rodgers on my team and he very well could be done.

Adding a good coach and Jeanty should be enough assuming they add some pieces to the line. If Caleb is the real deal this team will be contending very soon. Johnson has to be thinking how nice it would be to have a Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery wrapped into one RB.

Insane for the Broncos, as in good. Imagine what Payton could do with him. I’ve seen him to the Broncos in some mocks, but I’ll believe he makes it that far when I see it.

I’m just not sure I believe Vegas can be competitive within the next 2-3 seasons. I think they should invest elsewhere with that pick. But we do know how much Pete values running it.

I’m just ready for the draft info haha.

I'm getting myself pretty excited for this year's draft.

Good year for the dynasty guys that have built their teams around WR but weaker at RB.

With the RB depth of this draft it'll be interesting to see what will happen with the mid/lower teir RB1 type guys. While I don't see their teams drafting direct replacements there's going to be plenty of day 2 guys that could add solid competition.

Devante has no ring? So what, the usual 8 teams most likely here?

I'd be pretty cool with Lions, Bills, Chargers, Bucs

I don't want Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs

Wherever Rodgers goes.

A lot of good info speculation, including Adams going where Rodgers goes haha.

Not this **** again.

If it does happen, I’ll be docking the incumbent WR1. And that would include someone as good as Nabers. We simply can’t trust Rodgers not to be a dickhead.

I have 12% Adams but almost no Rodgers. I need to fix that.

"So, they don’t want to try and sign Darnold to an industry standard starting QB contract, which for a QB coming off the year he had starts at at the very minimum $40 million a year and goes up from there"
Like holy ****...

Yeah, it’s probably fair market value, but I wouldn’t want my team to pay it haha.

Should we trust the one good season with an elite offensive coach, where Sammy D melted in the two biggest games of the year? Or the other 6 seasons?

If he ends up making more per year on a short deal than Purdy is insane.

0 Rodgers for me.

I’d expect Purdy to ultimately get $50+, but Berry made it sound like they’re far apart.

He doesn’t excite me, but he still put up some big weeks last year. He’s free for now, but I don’t want to be drafting the steam. I’d only draft him in 3QB builds and mainly with Adams.

Bears loading up on OL through trades (rams center and thuney)

Jeanty SZN incoming
