44 on 754, 2-flush

1/2 NL, effective stacks about 300. I open limp (donk play!!!!!) 44 UTG+1. UTG+3 raises to 12, CO calls, I call. Flop comes 754, 2-flush. Should I lead out or play for a checkraise?

Maybe check raise as preflop raiser could have overpair maybe i dunno

X-r. Waiting until turn to donk (assuming x-through) is fine too at 7-ish SPR. It's MW, I don't expect a x-through.

You're going to hate life when the flush comes, (or an 8 or 6) but oh well.

CR because people cbet too much.

pf fine at your stack depth

Read-less on Vs, I prefer to lead out at this 1/2 level. There are too many action-killing cards on turn. Wheel draws, FDs and overpairs will call and AA may raise us here. If they don't have those combos, we're probably not getting paid later anyway.

For pre. to be fine you need to have some reads and everyone be pretty bad ... otherwise it's very unlikely you win 120 postflop when you hit.

Without anyone having reads, I don't mind lead out ... people will spew raise almost any overpair (then you just call).

If you check and PFR bets, I'd mix call/raise unless CO called.

I don't mind the limp in games today -- at least not the games I play in. Everyone is so loose (yet somehow tight) / passive.

Check/raise is good, although reads would be nice if you want better advice. If there is any chance it will check through, donk away.

The preflop call is marginal. I was limping hoping for more than a 3-way limped or raised pot. I am getting some odds, as I already have 2 in. Could also have open raised smallish. I don't like open folding a pp in this sort of game, because it is really profitable if you get like a 5-way pot.

I played for a checkraise, because it was a wet board. Preflop raiser bet 20, I checkraised to 55. He said "you probably hit a set" and folded. He really shouldn't cbet that board with just high cards, but he might not have folded an overpair.

In this configuration, I'd go for the check raise, with huge sizing, at least 5x whatever the bet is, but preferably more, so we can just jam turn. If UTG3 over-limped, and CO raised, I'd donk lead big, maybe full pot.
