Playing in the Eastern conference means one extra game in Toronto every two years vs playing in the Western conference. One night of booing every two years isn't going to impact his decision.

What do you guys think of a possible 84 game season? Love starting the season earlier, but hate still ending the season in late June.
Also, that time of year again for the rumour of Shanahan is gone if Leafs don't make it past 2nd round or at least have a good 2nd round, which is not happening, have zero idea how he still has a job.
So guess will be cheering for Vancouver and Winnipeg as usual this year in playoffs.
