He's doing great! A few months ago, he caved and bought a 2021 Corolla. He's currently getting to freeze his ass off. lol - He's only known Southern California weather all of his life.

In his apartment the hallway is heated to 72 degrees. So he opens his door to suck in the warm air and save on heating costs. lolol (Father like son!)

lmao!!! I love the update!!

when I lived in my apartment, I would often open the door to see by the hallway light, and not turn on my own light, saving on lightbulbs and electricity.

I think we might be related

We bought him a breakfast table for his birthday. He would eat at his counter.

He is super focused on building a 6 month emergency reserve.

BTW, We're eating at Outback tonight! 😀

I don't get it.

That's not engineering, that is catachresis or absurd hyperliteralism.

an engineering solution would be to give the doctor the apple in the manner of Oppenheimer

Because unshown, right before that last panel, the engineer sneaks into the doctors home, blows his head off and dissolves the body in lye.

I was told the silent part on TV.

Everybody lyes.

I think my favorite documentary music gender is, "We paid Philip Glass a million dollars to write three arpeggios."

Saw they’re closing Skype up and reminded me of old POG Skype days.

Hope everyone is doing well <3

Those were the days. POG Skype days were without the doubt the peak days of POG. (Board) game nights, whatever else and shortline99 on piano, what could be better? Hope you’re doing well as well! -esse

I'm being forced to eat at Outback tonight. First time in probably 15 years or more. It's my nephew's favorite place and his birthday, so Outback it is. Any tips besides don't order the steak?

If you have a dog, go for the steak and bring it home. Now it's their birthday.

I focus on the sweet potato.

My dog's had too many teeth pulled to be eating steak and I don't like that bitch enough to be putting steak in a blender for her.

It'll be fine. I'll get teriyaki chicken or something. Last time I went I ordered a ribeye and when it came it was a 1/2" thick and way overcooked. Never went back. That was a loooong time ago.

I love the ribeye! 1/2" sounds about right? You want ribeye's around medium to brown the fat properly.

My order when I go:

Sirloin medium-rare
House salad w/Tangy Tomato (ground pepper on the table)
Baked Potato with everything
About 3 loaves of bread

Thunder Down Under for Dessert, 4 spoons.

Last night was awesome! Fantastic service, great price. great food.

I end up at Outback once or twice a year, never initiate but it's absolutely fine. While the steaks aren't OOT steak thread elite they've been consistently good and better than the average chain steakhouse. They also make a notably consistent side salad.

I don't think they come by the loaf.
