My GOD Elon ****ing sucks.

Yes, terrorism has attached itself to his brand of cars...

Of course he rants about how it's the Democrats that did it.

If you've ever paid attention to Musk interviews, he repeats himself ad nauseam.

****ing ******.

I don't remember this, but I do remember being pretty excited about the entertainment value of the 2016 election results, and having those vibes thoroughly crushed by week 3 of Trump's first term. "Jesus Christ. Someone please just take his phone away" was much of my internal monologue during the early days of Trump. It never improved.

Misremembered, you were just excited by overall discounts.

You're letting the media fear machine overpower your common sense here. Coronavirus is no different than countless other illnesses that we live with. It's less lethal, though, we know that.Remember about 45 days ago when we were all set for WW3? Enjoy the restaurant discounts and cheap cruise packages while you can. I'm flying Southwest tomorrow and they don't do assigned s

Ah, a blast from the past.

Just a few days ago I heard that Southwest is changing to the more traditional model of assigned seating and no free bags (unless you have their credit card or club membership).

Pretty wild to see how radicalized mainstream leftism has become

well, people are getting more and more pissed off with the Boss Baby and lil Elon, so what do you expect?

That was pretty weak applause..maybe 10% of the audience...small enough that "bursts into applause" is just a lie. Not saying it was good or bad...it just wasn't the audience bursting into applause.

Mr. Advisor with no actual power reportedly being briefed on hypothetical war plans with CHiNA. Why not?

Eh, at least he's not actually sharing them with CHINA, like he did during his previous term.

by GTO2.0

the president has absolute power to decide who has clearance for what without anyone else ever being allowed to contest that

egg prices are improving fast after Trump stopped the Biden genocide of chicken.

sometimes all it takes to fix a problem is to kick the gvmnt out of it

Cool.

Not everything trump does is blatantly illegal. This falls in the category of “stupid

We’ll wait til it gets leaked to refer to it as illegal and stupid.

this falls in the category of "you don't like it".

I personally have no reason to dislike the idea that the biggest republican donor is legally kept in the loop of the most important informations about the world, after all he is going to pay for the next cycle election so the more he knows, the more he can select proper candidates, donate to them and what not.

you might think that's bad for the country because you dislike the guy, but then the same can be sad everytime democrats give clearance to anyone who is left-wing from the other side

I though only people that was elected should had a lot of power ?
Now because it’s trump it’s ok ?
So why were you against unelected official at the head of certain federal institution ?
Isn’t the same thing ?

not sure what you mean, every president gives clearance for classified information to a ton of people.

i am against people who don't responded to the electorate to have power.

a president can give any power he has to anyone under him, he and the whole of his team can be kicked out with a simple election if the people disagree.

what should never happen is for someone to have political power, and elections can't completly shut him out of it entirely and for good.

Uh I think it’s bad to pay for access to non public government secrets/contracts. Many would refer to that as “corruption” or “bribery”.

But whatever, not like Elons in bed with the Chinese gov and has massive personal incentives to help them out or anything.

hm what's your reason to think Musk is pro-china? they are his biggest competitor for Tesla, they aren't going to give SpaceX money, and twitter is banned there.

byd probably stole his manufacturing efficiencies and other tech and is crushing teslas growth narrative

I doubt he loves china, he just had to expand to keep the narrative going so the stock doesn't tank

You are right. And Qianfan will probably crush Starlink the way the Chinese EVs are crushing Tesla. Musk would have a lot to gain from conflict with China. Good thing he's looking at the war plans!

We are allowed to contest whether or not that is a good idea. Especially when considering someone who was unable to get high security clearance on his own, based on his questionable history and lifestyle choices.

What is this image from? Eggs certainly haven't suddenly halved in price at stores around me.

those as per screenshot are the egg price CFDs (contracts for differences), more or less "wholesale prices".

those lag consumer prices by a few weeks. consumer prices have gone down a lot in the last 2 weeks and will keep going down because it CFD prices

Well, I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. Was there something in particular to cause the sudden drop?
I haven't heard of any good news regarding eggs in the last few weeks.

Newsweek’s Jasmine Laws reported Tuesday that wholesale “egg prices in the U.S. have fallen to $3.45 per dozen, reaching their lowest level in nearly five months, following a period of price volatility fueled by supply chain issues, bird flu outbreaks, and fluctuating consumer demand.”

“Egg prices have experienced extreme fluctuations over the past year. On March 3, wholesale egg prices reached a record $8.17 per dozen, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The spike was attributed to tight supplies and seasonal demand,” Laws reported. “Since then, prices have declined more than 57% to $3.45 per dozen
