Personallly I hope there's a good core of '**** about and find out' people in the ex-employee groups that Elon is ****ing about with.
You can judge me it's ok but one of the categories of youtube I enjoy is contentious local government meetings. Sometimes they get violent, sometimes over jobs. The amount of hatred boiling for Elon right now is probably at Hitlerian levels. You won't necessarily see it so much as everything is geared towards suppressing opinions elites don't like. This guy owns Twitter for example. But the seething is out there, rolling and roiling across the great plains, through the valleys etc.
It was probably a misstep on Musk's part to volunteer to be the lightening rod for the full scale attack on social services, one of the dumbest and most short sighted pet projects of the elite. They can't see past next week. They want to replace everyone's job with code but they want people to have money to buy things. They have money to buy anything but they don't want to educate people enough to produce things for them to buy. I mean they want a heart transplant but don't want to pay for anyone to go to school.
At some point we have to start chipping away at the idea that someone who spent their life figuring out how to sell the most stuff or boost a stock price the most has the most wisdom. They just don't.

Well, it appears the goal is to:
- make passing negative remarks about social security (e.g., it's a ponzi) to plant the seed
- make social security dysfunctional by firing a bunch of people in the administration
- through making it dysfunctional, get a bunch of old people angry at not getting their checks and/or having to drive to an office to prove you're eligible (as already happened to an 82yo whose payments were cut off because they claimed he was dead)
- claim that privatizing will ensure everyone gets their benefits etc. because billionaires are better at management
Of course, that would have a couple of trillion moving through Elon's hands yearly when it's privatized.
Being who he is, I can't blame him for thinking he could pull it off without a hitch. Now he's crying to his employees to not sell their stock and promising them wealth and robots that will do all their chores for them 😆
