Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

After Rice cooked all the food Kansas bought.

I have also fed the monkeys at the zoo.

Dont disrespect primates!

After analysis of the rubric, ELD demonstrates using the calendar chart that if a Nomad completes 150 hours in the golden month of March, then this will give a two year gold tier.

This reverses ELD's previous teaching that all hours had to be at one poker room and now it is the sum of all poker hours throughout all MGM rooms.

Hilarious how Rice genuinely believes that everyone lined up for hotel check-in or a buffet must be a sucker. He doesn't realise that while he's spending his time earning comps and status by being a nit at the poker table everyone else in the real world is actually earning real money.

They might not get to skip the lines at casinos but they own a house, nice cars and have plenty of money in the bank. Meanwhile Rice's second most valuable asset, after his shitbox car, is his rice cooker.

How much does a Poker Dealer make in Las Vegas, Nevada? As of Mar 17, 2025, the average hourly pay for a Poker Dealer in Las Vegas is $12.84 an hour.

Big money on the way?

Tried watching today but this goof ball has to put up a chart to show hypotheticals of hours played in the last 12 months. It's pretty easy to understand last 12 months you need 150 hours. You don't need to make a PowerPoint presentation on it.

This is the most fascinating thing about Rice for me. Being able to be such a massive loser in life on basically all sylinders, while at the same time being so much in his own head that he manages to look down on people that is crushing life compared to him.

Rice is so obsessed with promotions, status, waived resort fees and yada yada lol while the people he is looking down on dont care about that sort of BS,because they dont live on below poverty wage.

Its so off the charts that i sometimes is struggling to wrap my head around it,just unreal.

Nevada minimum wage is 12 an hour so they make 12 an hour plus tips.

Yeah those 'suckers' probably experience more and get more enjoyment out of a 7 day visit than Vegas has managed in all the years he has visited Vegas.

Rice is going to die with a $0.50 coupon clutched in his cold, gray hand.

And they’re lucky, a lot of states don’t require tipped positions to be paid full minimum wage.

Very true. Philly is making $6/hr base. I made $2.50 as my high number in the multiple of jobs I held in Texas, including,$0 per hour in the last job I held.

Seems to be some room for discussion on whether or not it is actually legal.

Spot on

A commenter on today's ELD video reports Harrah's in Florida has been giving out weekly WAWA coupons.

The sick part is the cocktail servers get paid the min. wage plus insane tips, that is why you see 75 year old + waitresses still slinging drinks in casinos.

True but in my experience tips are also better outside of Vegas.

Yes I’ve heard the same thing. I’m considering making a comeback to dealing and if I do I’d be a travel dealer starting with the WSOP this summer. With full minimum wage and a guaranteed down rate of $15 for Hold ‘em and $20 for mixed games I’ll happily deal tournaments all day long.

The hot ones with a big rack upwards of a quarter mill a year. That reality show based at Green Valley Ranch had a high-limit waitress as one of the "stars". That was over 10 years ago, too.

The good dealers at the cardroom in California I used to lose money at made in the neighborhood of a hundred grand a year, but the cost of living was very high. It might actually be less now that no-limit is the dominant game. They got 45-50 hands an hour in fixed limit games. Everything was geared towards running the game faster. Dealers carried their own bank, so no wasting time counting the bank. No cut after pulling the deck out of the shuffler.

Wow not cutting the deck is pretty wild and really doesn’t save time.

One of the regs at the Borgata has a cocktail waitress wife. I asked him what was the largest tip she's ever gotten and he answered "$5K. On two separate occasions"

Definitely but the 75 year olds aren't getting tipped like this.

The real money is being a bottle server at the clubs.
