Hello and welcome to the arena!

Previous High Stakes thread: *** February 2025 High Stakes Thread ***

: : :

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here!

:

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Converter from Pokeit https://pokeit.co/convert/ with wide variety of supported games, multiple hand conversion, etc.

Another converter: http://www.railhand.com

Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.

Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Find it interesting that nosebleed plo matches between O4R and GN or whoever is at the top, would just happen randomly, like what suddenly gets their juices going to play each other? They don’t battle all the time and avoid each other, but sometimes they do, why? Don’t see there’s much edge in plo5 when you’re both elite so is it just gamble? If it’s tilt and need action where are they tilting elsewhere from at this sort of level as there’s nowhere else that has nosebleeds. Interesting stuff psychologically.

Do you think neither of them have an edge?

Ty for hand everyone <3

Stefan's having some technical trouble posting here, so he asked me to help him out. Here's his message:

Grazvydas, hey brother.

I call you that because ever since I read your post on 2+2, that’s exactly how it felt.

Tried to find a way to reach out directly, but I couldn’t and for some reason, I’m not able to send private messages on this site, so I’m writing this publicly.

What I want to say is simple. I’ve gone through one hell of a swing — from the top of the poker world to being completely wiped out. It was rough, but honestly, it gave me something most people never get: a real, raw understanding of human nature.

What surprised me most wasn’t the fall itself, but how fast people disappeared. Some walked away quietly. Others made a show of it. Turns out, admiration is easy to find when you’re winning. Loyalty — not so much. But now I have a small circle, and it’s made of people I’d go to war for. You’re one of them.

Your post gave me strength when I needed it most. More than you probably realize. And when you offered to work together, I was in — instantly. The only reason I didn’t reach out sooner is because I wanted to be sharp enough to bring real value. I’ve been studying PLO ever since. Not at the perfect pace because I’ve been dealing with some heavy stuff too, but consistently, and with purpose.

There’s something I learned a long time ago, and it’s kept me going when things got dark: when you can’t walk, crawl. If you can’t crawl, at least face the direction you want to go. Then one day, stand. Walk. Run. And when the time’s right — go all in, and lift others with you.

Now I’m ready to stand.

We’ve never met, never spoken, but when I read your words, it hit me — I’ve got a brother I’ve never seen. One day, I’ll shake your hand. Until then I’m ready to talk. Let’s move forward and do some business together my friend.

Here’s my Telegram: S1GnumWins

I hope we can talk soon.
With all due respect,
Stefan.

Do you think neither of them have an edge?

Personally I think once you’re very very good at PLO5 there’s not much in it no, the variance is so insane that there can’t be much in it. And if they both thought there was an edge, they’d be playing all the time and they aren’t. My question was really to do with the psychology of it, I wonder what eventually leads to the game where they are happy to play, if they don’t believe there’s much edge, as it’s not an everyday occurrence (if there was an edge perceived on both sides they’d be playing all the time ldo).

Every session doesn’t have to be about having an edge, some players just love the game and the tougher the puzzle, the more rewarding it is to figure it out.

One of the best ways to improve as a player is to play against tough competition. They will expose your weaknesess and put you in uncomfortable spots. If you figure out why abd how they do it, you can eliminate this weakness from your game and attack other players with this new tool.

Everyone at some point in their career should play heads up against a hyper aggro + explo russian and treat is as a coaching session

Yes good post and point actually.
