Twin River Casino is adding poker to their selection of table games.
According to a news release, 16 poker tables will be built inside the casino’s new poker room and eight traditional games, such as Blackjack, will round out the other additions. Twin River Chairman John Taylor said the gambling expansion will create 120 more jobs.
“An important part of our business philosophy has been to listen to what our customers want, and the addition of a poker room is one of most often heard requests,” said Taylor in a statement. “We’re thrilled to increase the number of table games we currently offer, which also means we will expand our workforce once again.”
The addition is meant to fill out the non-smoking floor of the casino, in order to replicate the gaming experience on Twin River’s first floor.
“We’re consistently looking for new opportunities to deliver an exciting gaming and entertainment product in a customer friendly environment.”
274 slot machines will be removed to accommodate the new tables.
The new games are slated to be operational by August.
time games are never in promos, would be weird if twin included that
also 800 cap 2/5 and taking 11 is lol unacceptable. 800 was already bad, now it's wild work. how can it not be 1k in 2025?
$5-10 NL is excluded from promos, however the time collection is going up to $12 a half hour.
I guess the hour-long drive to Foxwoods is still worth it despite this place being 10 minutes from my house.
New room is an extended version of the existing poker area, 30 tables, scheduled to open beginning of April.
Is it not running at all right now?

Currently running on the left side of the area under the old business model (10 handed, $8 rake, etc.).
Twin poker room has remained open during expansion. Not sure how Foxwoods was brought into the conversation.
if people used the quote feature it would be easier to understand the questions reference
What are you referring too? Maybe use the quote feature brah!
Also, damn **** rake situation with all that jackpot drop! Hopefully it works out for all the staff and obviously people will like a new shiny room.
I think the better question would be IF they get tournaments up and running.
I see Bally's Twin River is listed in Bravo now. Getting closer I guess.
Bravo system is officially up and running as of today!
They don't take wait list reservations online? Yet?

Does these mean they are swiping player's cards at the table instead of the desk having to do it?
And does this mean the dealers are now using the screens to move people from one seat to another, and empty a seat, instead of having to yell "6 out, 3 moved to 6", etc?
